[indent]Welcome to [color=Magenta][b]Neon Miami: Royals of Miami[/b][/color], a satirical roleplay of sorts heavily inspired by crime stories - primarily inspired by Saints Row, Party Hard, and Bully. Opposed to being a gritty and dull tale of the ugly side of crime, [color=Magenta][b]Neon Miami[/b][/color] is meant to be an irreverent and comedic play on the tropes put under a colorful [s]aesthetic[/s] light. The RP is ultimately meant to be a criticism of hyper commercialization of urban settings, and the over glorification of criminal stories and the characters in them. [/indent][/cell][/row][/table][indent]The storyline of [color=Magenta][b]Neon Miami: Royals of Miami[/b][/color] is straightforward as it gets... it takes place in an alternate history of sorts where [color=Magenta][b]Miami[/b][/color] was turned into a bright and vibrant city by corporations and marketed as the great place to go and have fun... while also turning into a warzone. You see, by making [color=Magenta][b]Miami[/b][/color] into such a great place to go and visit and make it [i]sooo[/i] pretty vibrant, it was made to be extremely expensive (well, more expensive than usual). Causing it to become a warzone like any other as gang violence and organized crime runs rampant in the city. What is unique about [color=Magenta][b]Neon Miami[/b][/color]'s warzone is that [color=Magenta][b]Neon Rainbow[/b][/color] is ruled by the [b][color=red]C[/color][color=blue]o[/color][color=green]l[/color][color=yellow]o[/color][color=orange]r[/color][color=purple]s[/color][/b], which essentially means each gang in [color=Magenta][b]Miami[/b][/color] has taken a color for themselves after proving themselves to be tough enough to own that color. If you go around [color=Magenta][b]Miami[/b][/color], you'll see the place change "colors" when you realize its each gang's individual turf... and wearing the wrong colors in the wrong turf can spell disaster for you. [color=Magenta][b]Miami's[/b][/color] [b][color=red]C[/color][color=blue]o[/color][color=green]l[/color][color=yellow]o[/color][color=orange]r[/color][color=purple]s[/color][/b] changes constantly as gangs are wiped out and new ones pop up in their place, however there has been a stagnation as each gang has owned their spot and aren't letting go.

This story follows the [color=purple][b]Royals.[/b][/color], what started out as a lowly street racing group that [i]accidentally[/i] rose to power through sheer dumb luck and everyone around them fucking up. They became mid-tier, owning Overton and having a huge hand in the car parts trade. Most of the time the [color=purple][b]Royals[/b][/color] go around and steal expensive cars from other gangs and largely stay out of the gang war... however, it won't be long before the feds decide to put their foot down hard when the Royals get a bit too deep.

I'm going to say this now: you have one chance and I will not accept any form of toxicity or negativity in the RP or discord server. Please be respectful of all players since we're gonna have a mixed bag of personalities here and I would rather not have any conflict.

[b]2.[/b] What I am looking for in terms of characters is very strongly written and diverse in terms of personality and skills. I don't want any one-dimensional or generic characters but characters that stick out to me.

[b]3.[/b] Please no "wip" sheets on the OOC. Post a complete sheet or don't post anything at all. If you need something looked over, feel free to private message me. Speaking of which, the character tab is for accepted characters only.

[b]4.[/b] You can have as many characters as you'd like.

[b]5.[/b] I left the lore a bit vague, leaving out the history, so players can have the freedom to create events and whatnot in the setting. You are encouraged to do so... within reason.


[b]6.[/b] I request one paragraph at the very [i]least[/i], but don't feel the need to bloat your post with meaningless drivel. Quality over quantity, basically. [/cell][cell][b]7.[/b] For face claims, it's going to be art (including 3D art) only. I would prefer something cartoon-y... just no anime (weeb).

[b]8.[/b] Keep in mind that your character can totally die. If they make the wrong move it can result in their death and I will not jeopardize the story to save them.

[b]9.[/b] This RP will strictly be "first come, first serve." Meaning I will not reserve any character roles/etc, and they will go to whoever finishes their character sheet first. If there's a conflict over it, I will decide the outcome.

[b]10.[/b] This is not meant to be a super edgy/serious crime story, as stated before it's meant to be a [i]satire[/i] of them. The tone will be super comedic, and light-hearted... with some occasional dark moments.

[b]11.[/b] All I ask for is one post a week. If it's been a week since your last post, your character will be placed into the inactive section until they are written off (mostly by death). Please be aware that once your character is inactive they can be killed off.
