Anna
Anna had more or less been minding her own business up until the point that Sasuke and insisted on gathering the 2A and 2B reps. She was used to his behavior at this point but knew he had a tendency to put others off. Where most saw a smug superiority complex Anna saw a person just trying to get stuff done. She admired this to an extent. She was now seated in the room watching the broadcast just like the rest of them and also watching in slight disgust as Sasuke consumed an unholy amount of watermelon. Not to mention the way he spoke, she got that he was blunt but damn he could come off as outright mean sometimes. "Just because we are at war doesn't mean you need to suck down watermelon like you will never eat it again." This was more muttered under her breath but she was sure her class's male rep had heard it. She tried to interject on behalf of class 2A's rep but she seemed to say exactly what Anna was thinking. It’s true, what a person does is their own. She doubted if their classmates had any idea of what was happening they wouldn't have sat by idly. They would have told someone or tried to stop it themselves. Nobody would have just let that happen. "Sasuke what happened with their classmate was not their fault, whereas yes it is the jobs of the reps to keep their classes in line in most cases there is only so much we can do. It's not like any of them are mind-readers, and if their former friend closed himself off to them there really isn't much to be done." She casually swept a watermelon seed away from her seat. "I agree, it will most likely be you that makes it to Student Council President, but I doubt anyone will blame them for what happened. Besides, we have more important things to think about right now. Like the others said." She was of course referring to the internships. As she started thinking about it, she panicked. She had no clue who she was going to pick or even if anyone wanted her. She always felt her quirk was mediocre at best, not to mention she was behind in its development. In this sense she was kind of jealous of everyone else. Sure she had her dad to help her out but he had never tried to develop his quirk for hero work. She knew what she could do but how far could she push herself? Anna heard the others speaking about who they were going to pick and she groaned. "I have no clue what I am going to do." While this was out loud it was more to herself than to anyone in particular. "You have to have about a million agencies wanting you to intern for them?" This question was directed at Sasuke, mostly to get him talking about anything other than the recent events. She didn’t want him driving an even bigger line between the two classes, after all they were all ultimately working to become heroes. It was highly likely many of them would work together in the future. ______________________________________________________________
Kaito
Kaito was seated with the rest of the students watching the broadcast yet none of this was a surprise to him. His father had told him about it the night before. He shifted in his seat uncomfortable when the 2B male rep started talking about their former classmate. He hated the fact that someone in their class had done such an awful thing and there was and there was nothing he could do to stop it from happening. And thus the bird boy sat and listened quietly. There was nothing he had to add to what the others had already said. The topic quickly changed to who each was going to intern for and it was here Kaito smiled. He had known who he was going to intern with his entire life. Who better to teach him how to take over the Harpy mantle than the current holder of the name. Though his father was getting up in years he was still just as effective at his job. Kaito wasn’t really here to be the center of attention. He was here to train to take over his father’s title, a title that had been passed down through several generations already. His father worked in the Tamaki agency and though the Tamura name wasn’t nearly as famous as that of the Tamaki clan it had pretty much become synonymous over the years. The two families had worked together for as long as anyone could remember. Kaito was more than proud of this. When the others began to file out he stood up waiting for it to be a little more clear and stretched. Overhearing the female 2B rep complain about not knowing what she was going to do. He was sure she wasn’t the only one with that sentiment however he had no desire to voice this and instead walked out his talons clicking on the floor as he did so.
