So, role is really just a flavor text kind of thing. What role would your character fill in like.. a dnd/adventure group setting. Are they the medic? Archer? Tank/Paladin?

Not every character need have a font! Though, typically Hunters would be people with Fonts, yes, but they don't always have to be. 

Yes, everyone gets their own RWBY-esque weapon. Here's a description of the weapon I gave my muse last time.

Though, typically the resonant is used as a sort of elemental energy? So like... as you can see, in her crossbow, she has reservoirs for Res that will do different things for her weapons. Like applying a poison for extra dmg but instead it's res and it can apply any number of things.
