Can I submit a CS as well? I've wanted to jump in on a Pokemon RP for a while. Name: Randy Thorburn Age: 16 Trainer Class: Ranch Hand/Cowboy Appearance: Randy is just under six feet tall and weighs about 180 pounds. Working outside on a farm has given him both muscle and tanned skin. He has very short black hair and the makings of a small, teenage beard. His brown eyes, while friendly, are usually hidden behind a pair of sunglasses. Likewise, his hair is almost always covered up by an old and beat-up cowboy hat. When not wearing these objects, it is far clearer to see that Randy's ears are a bit bigger than normal. Style and fashion not being high on Randy's priority list, most of his clothes are fairly similar. A majority of his shirts are just plain t-shirts, but he owns a few flannels as well. In colder weather Randy prefers to wear a black heavy-duty jacket given to him by his family. His selection of pants basically extends to jeans and a few pairs of work pants, with little else breaking the trend. Not a fan of shorts, it is common to see him wearing pants in the hottest weather. He has one pair of black sneakers and one pair of brown boots for footwear. None of his collection is very flashy as he prefers clothes suited to work. Personality: Randy is a hard-worker, first and foremost. If there's a job that needs to be done, don't expect him to rest until the work is up to his high standards. He is also very stubborn, refusing to back down about issues he is passionate about. Arguments happen often because of this, and surely aren't helped by his tendency to lose his temper. He is quick to anger but not very hard to calm down. Pride is also important to him and so he doesn't take insults very lightly. However, when in pleasant company, Randy is a kind and sociable guy. He is quick to trust others and make friends. His optimistic spirit and slightly meat-headed demeanor make him nothing but friendly to most other people. Backstory: Randy grew up on a Miltank ranch that his father owned and operated. Him, along with his four siblings and mother, all lived and worked on the ranch. Randy's days were spent tending the farm and the animals, mostly physical outdoor labor that he grew accustomed to after a while. Make no mistake he loved his work and went to bed every night excited for tomorrow's tasks. This is where he grew his love for all things Pokemon. On the days where he did not work, Randy loved adventuring. He would explore the forest surrounding the ranch endlessly and developed a strong enjoyment of being outdoors. His oldest brother left the ranch when Randy was twelve to go on a quest to become a Pokemon trainer. He had started off well and constantly sent letters home about his travels. Randy read these letters over and over to the point where he basically memorized each one. One day, the letters stopped coming and the family quickly got worried. Using the letters as a trail of places to follow, Randy's father went off in search of him. While he was gone Randy constantly imagined the worst and was so off-put he could barely work. Randy's father came home a week later with his trainer son in tow. He had been trapped under an avalanche on a mountain for two days before a few random hikers found and saved him. He had been recovering in the hospital when his father had come to bring him home. This only made Randy more determined than ever to become a successful trainer. When he saw the advertisements for the Willow League, he knew it was time for the start of his real career. Favorite Pokemon Type: Rock/Ground/Steel...Anything to do with the Earth, generally. My favorite color is green, in case you were wondering.
