It was as if she was scolding Sunshine, only proving to further press her buttons as the heated exchange continued. Sparks of magic danced at Max's fingertips for a brief moment before he decided that Sunshine could fight her own battles and he had no need to intervene. It felt weird having had a protective thought about the walking disease ball, but ever since he healed her back at the clinic, the loss of Magik, and then the island, it was as if Max could finally see her for more of what she is...or was? So much time had passed while they were frozen. A lot could've changed not just in the world but in those that got to walk the earth before their escape from the frozen prison. Max let out a sigh, rolling his eyes as Waverly answered his question. He didn't know who passed in her left shoe but she clearly didn't enjoy it. He decided she wasn't worth the effort right now, instead focusing on trying to get Sunshines mind elsewhere, anywhere. So as everyone decided it was time to leave the cold and sterile to gather their belongings, he decided to hang near Sunshine and walk alongside her. To say the scenery was breathtaking would be a severe understatement. It didn't even feel as if they were on Earth anymore. The world around them seemed to take a different hue, one that radiated peace and tranquility. For a second his eyes began to water, wondering if Leighton would've liked this. If her spirit was here, would she believe that her death was worth it? A part of him wanted to ask if Glimpse was able to make it here, if anyone had heard from her since the split. But Max couldn't bring himself to ask. So he decided to keep his mind busy on other things. Max quickly passed a hand over everyone from near the back of the line, using the perspective to his advantage. Swirls of magic surrounded those in the white spandex and gave them a...not so spectacular look. They looked like the discount Underground, clothes bought from a JC Penney's that fit everyone's aesthetics just fine but...it wasn't what he envisioned. Max made another pass, the clothes improving slightly, elevating the designs to a more Macy's feel, but still nowhere near what he wanted. Andy should be wearing Doc Martens, not Levi's that were black, Harry definitely needed more designer less off the rack, and Casper...well who knows with him to be honest. Max decided to give it one more try, an exasperated look coloring his face as he let out a heavy sigh of frustration. Everything had felt so easy back in the hospital. It all felt so natural and now… now it just wouldn't click. The clothes weren't better or worse just...caught in between the two renditions. His head wasn't in it at the moment, too many thoughts distracting him from focusing on what it was he was trying to do. But for the most part at least the Underground didn't look like it was part of a cult. As his annoyance peaked, Max finally decided to turn to Sunshine and talk. "I know you mentioned youd need my help to decipher it but...did you get a chance to look at that book I showed you before? Maybe in the past months you'd deciphered something?"
Echo

Location: Genosha Skills: .

Harry was fully on board with getting his items back. He didn't have anything particularly valuable to others, nor was he worried that anyone would break or destroy his things. But he wanted to have his wallet back. To be closer to the image of his late fiancé. Her image, and a keepsake he kept from her, that's all he cared about. Harry absentmindedly reached up towards his chest, feeling where the necklace would be, touching the ghost of it as if he had just had it on yesterday. His thoughts were however cut short as suddenly he felt fabric against his hand. He touched it softly, trying to figure out what had happened as he watched everyone suddenly don clothing out of thin air. The outfit wasn't bad per se, but the fabric. If there was anything worse than the spandex he had on before, it was the fully polyester shirt he had now. How anyone thought this could mimic the silky smooth texture of silk was beyond him. The clothing changed again, new outfit, new fabric, and Harry thanked the gods above. He inspected himself but as he went to do so it changed once more. He now had black denim skinny jeans, a white dress shirt buttoned down three buttons, and a leather jacket whose sleeves stopped midway down his forearms. His tattoos were for the most part exposed, and the shoes were nowhere near designer, but at least the look was as on brand as one could get without money.
