Mika kept looking at Ethan wondering what was taking the guy so long to answer her, but evetually she saw him start to open his mouth to actually talk. "What's going on between you and this Dean guy?" he finally asked, despite needing to be downstairs as his client was due in any moment now. "It's a complicated and long story Ethan, one that you don't have time to hear because you have a client to see. But to give you some answer for the time being, he dated my cousin when they were teenagers and a childhood close friend before then" she explained, keeping up the lie she told Dean over the phone. "oh...right" Ethan simply replied nodding whilst scratching the back of his neck awkwardly. "It's complicated because my cousin died at eighteen years old and I guess he just never got over it" she added, hoping that next piece of information would be enough to get him off of her back. She really wasn't in the mood for talking about her past with the guy, no matter how much she did care about him. "I'm sorry for asking, I'll leave you be" Ethan finally said going back downstiars where indeed his first client of the day had walked inside and was waiting for him to appear. Mika on the other hand stayed upstairs in the apartment part of the shop and sighed. "damnit Mika..." she cursed to herself quietly, before noticing her phone buzzing with a text message. Grabbing it she saw that Dean was texting her the co-ordinates of the case the Winchester family were clearly on their way to. "Dean...one day you gotta stop sending me these" she said to herself before she put the co-ordinates into her gps and saw they were heading to Minnesota. "Hmm...that's a long endless drive from here. But doable enough. No...Mika don't even think about it...you need to break yourself from him...it's not fair on Ethan.." she argued with herself, desperate to convince herself to not jump into her car and follow them to Minnesota. "Bloody hells..." she sighed knowing it was pointless and instantly grabbed her stuff from Ethan's bedroom and grabbed her jacket from the back of his bar chair. Just like she did with Dean, in the hopes the mysterious note would keep him from giving up figuring it all out, she left one for Ethan: Ethan, I'm sorry to leave you like thism but I got a job to go to in Minnesota, I'll be back as soon as I can be Kenzi With the note written down, she headed downstairs and left out the back and out of sight, into her car and she was gone. She didn't give herself time to think about what she was doing because she knew if she did? She would regret every single action, try and stay with Ethan and try and get out of the hunting business, but she knew deep down she just couldn't. She couldn't leave Dean like that, especially as far as he was aware she already had. She sent a quick text to Dean back with her usual short hand reply saying 'on my way' before putting her phone down on the passenger seat beside her, turned her music on and drove to where Dean needed her to be.
