Roxy's parents divorced when she was nine. She chose to live with her father because she was closer to him than her mother. She never saw her mother again. She trained with her father's men. He pushed her to met the same standards as his men. It took time but she learned hand to hand, lock picking, spying before she was thirteen when her father gave her throwing knives and put her to work. She spend the next few trying to prove she is capable of being her father's heir and taking over the family business. Until she turned sixteen and her father found out that he had a son.
