Dean Winchester
Dean smiled down at Esme’s hair, kissing the top of her head one more time before pulling away from her. He pulled his arm up in front of her face, and lowered his sleeve to show his wrist. The bracelet she had left with him, a simple string wire bracelet, still around his wrist. “It made it to hell and back, apparently…”, he laughed, just before Mika stormed into the area, causing him to instinctively jump and push Esme behind him. His free left hand resting against the small of her back behind him, while his right hand came up to try and fend off Mika’s potential rage. Hell, he was tempted to try and put furniture between them. “Jesus Christ Mika! It’s been years…I…Mika…son of a bitch…”, he stammered at Mika as she screamed. He froze a bit as she stormed off, not knowing whether he should follow her or not. Turning back to Esme, he searched her eyes for a bit of forgiveness. “I’ll be back…”, he whispered, kissing her forehead for more forgiveness before running to the door as it slammed in his face, causing him to flinch. He flung the door open, stepping out into the hall with a huff, finding Mika there. Pinching the bridge of his nose, he stood in front of her, “You wanna tell me what the hell happened back there?”
Annabeth
Annabeth held his hand tightly as they walked across the street, watching him text someone. She was curious, but didn’t ask questions, as she didn’t know his contacts or how they could help. Her eyes went a bit wide when he mentioned the demons and what she could do to them. “I can do what?”, she asked, thinking back to Cason and the black smoke. She raised her free hand to stare at her palm in awe, now knowing what the heat was, and why. Sighing, she stepped up to the door of the diner and reached for the door handle.
Ruby
Ruby looked down at her phone, rolling her eyes as she sat in the near empty diner. It was closed, but a few people still lurked, none of them demons. Her interest was piqued as Sam and a mystery blonde approached the door. Her eyes turning black at the sight of the girl, she groaned, “Dammit, Sam…”
