Dean gasped for air as he stared at her, watching her gasp for air. He blinked a few times, before releasing her and placing both hands on the wall on either side of her head. He kept his body pressed against hers, his nose close to hers as he stared, pondering what his next move would be. “I don’t know what the hell I’m doing anymore. But it always comes back to you…”, he whispered, those rage tears welling up in his eyes again as he closed his them, turning his head slightly to the side. He pressed his eyebrow against hers for a second and then slammed his fist against the wall above her head and stepped back. He stepped over to the window, his hands on his hips, trying to decide if he wanted to go out for some air or not. There was still so much to be said. He still had questions. The biggest burning question caused him to almost kill her, which scared him. Was. She. Mika…or some incarnation of? Wiping his face, he narrowed his eyes at the familiar shape he saw running on the far end of the parking lot, just at the edge of the woods. “Sammy?”, he muttered, his rage being replaced by a slight panic. Sam was being dragged away by someone. It was someone he didn’t know. With them being on a vampire hunt, everything went through his mind, and he had left him alone. He turned on his heel, running over to the bed. He unzipped his duffel, and pulled his pistol and a machete, before swinging the door open. Funny how his mind went from murder to saving his brother…like clockwork. ———- Anna smiled at the rush she felt, as they ran. They were getting away, and it seemed so simple. As they reached the edge of the woods, she released his hand and kept running, stepping over familiar branches, as she had laid out a path for herself. She dodged, checking every now and again to make sure he was still following as the trail ended for her safety. She had built a trail leading off from the house, to make sure her mom wouldn’t be able to find her so easily, should she come looking. Soon enough, the cabin came into view, its shabby exterior gleaming in the moonlight. She turned to Sam, smiling brightly and raising her arms above her head, “Welcome to your temporary home, Sam! Its safe, I promise. I made sure they can’t find us, at least until we can leave in the morning.” She was acting completely out of character in the midst of adrenaline. She was normally a mopey kid, with no confidence or happy moments. But right now? She was high on the idea of freedom, despite the worry in her mind that this would still fail. Running up to him, she giggled and threw her arms around his neck, her nose close to his with a toothy grin, “Thank you…”
