Chas kept up the tactic if defense as Serena did what she needed to with her shadows for help. As the creature got thrown off of him he hunched over, hands on his knees out of relief that he didn't have to struggle not getting his nightmares pulled out of him. He watched her somehow make it upright out of her chair, amazed yet again at what power she truly had as she banished the creature out of the hospital. Standing up straight, he ran to get the wheelchair that was blasted away from her and brought it back to her, carefully putting her back in it. "now let's get you back to bed" he suggested.

Kay let out a large exhale of relief when John seemed to mentally come back to her and the real world, but she was still worried about how crap he looked. "I don't know, I couldn't see her, I could only go by what you were saying in response. But I think it's over now. Maybe you should get some sleep" she told him. "I'll be right here beside you the whole time" she added.
