Dean stepped carefully through the dense woods, stopping now and again to check for disturbances in the soft ground. As the woods began to thin, he slowed, holding Kenzi back with his arm, as he stopped. In front of them was a clearing of high grass, and an old shack standing in the center. “That doesn’t look good…”, he whispered, peering around the entire area to see if it was guarded. Part of him still believed that this whole thing was a vampire set up, and they were walking directly into the trap. Knowing his brother, he also doubted that Sam would just crash in any old house. The kid made his bed every morning, in a hotel. Huffing shortly, he strolled across the grass, one hand holding his machete under his gun in the other hand. Creeping up to the door, he turned to make sure she was still behind him, before slowly nudging the front door open with his foot and entering. He lowered his gun pretty quickly when he realized he was pointing it at the back of his brother’s head, “Sammy! What the hell do you think you’re doing just running off into the night, like that, man? Don’t move.” As he scolded his brother, he noticed a blonde head on the other side, causing him to raise his gun halfway again. ———- Anna’s hand had just crept under the band of Sam’s shirt, resting on his bare stomach as their little make out session grew more aggressive. Her other hand had found its way back into his hair, her heart racing. She never even heard the door open, only the sound of an angry man screaming Sam’s name. She jumped, pulling away from the kiss and stared at the man and who she could make out as a woman of similar age in the dark, “Um…Sam…” She didn’t move from where she sat, afraid the man she assumed was Sam’s father or possibly….brother? Would shoot her, “Is that your brother?”
