Dean Winchester
Dean nodded his head at her, making sure to take in every word while she seemed diffused. By now, he was used to diffusing Mika’s bombs, and it was honestly refreshing. He smirked, “I know. But I’m human…mostly. I think. I mean… I feel pretty human. I don’t like to see people hurt, not with everything I’ve seen…” He chuckled and picked up her hand, kissing her knuckles, “I’m here. I don’t plan to die any time soon, if that’s alright with you. But I have to ask you, until we figure this out…try to take a deep breath. If you need to reach out and punch me in the face, to make sure that you know where I stand, trust me, I’ve had worse.” He scoffed once again, leaning forward to kiss her lightly, missing that human connection after all that time in Hell. However, before he could touch her, a loud ringing began. He covered his ears, groaning as it grew louder. Windows, fire alarm cases and picture frames in the hall began to shatter, even breaking the door’s glass nearby. Laying on the ground in the fetal position, Dean screamed through the rumbling before it finally stopped, leaving them in silence, and Dean still huddled like a baby. “Dean?! Mika?! What the hell was that?”, Bobby asked as he sprinted toward them from up the hall, bag in hand. [@Chulance] - here’s a slight mention of Castiel…and we’re about to go to the barn]
Annabeth and Ruby
Ruby turned, looking down at Sam’s hand on her wrist, and then turned to look at Annabeth to judge her facial expressions. From what she had gathered from the intel she had about the Second, touching Sam was dangerous. When the girl simply stared at her innocently, she narrowed her eyes, “What’s wrong with her? I mean, I heard she was…altered, but she seems powerless.” “Oh. No. I can exorcise demons with my mind…”, Annabeth muttered, causing Ruby to raise both eyebrows and look up at Sam. Annabeth noticed her fear and grew concerned, “But you seem like a friend. So…” “I’m going to keep this short”, Ruby quipped, pulling her arm from Sam’s grip, “She’s Lilith’s second. She’s essentially a failed experiment that shouldn’t be alive. Her being with you is bad news, but not that shocking. You’re like a magnet for her kind…and she’s the last one.” As she finished the sentence, she had an idea cross her mind, and grabbed Annabeth’s arm, roughly. She pulled her sleeve up and stared at her wrists, nodding. “And she’s exactly who I thought. If that’s the case, I’m out. You know where to find me. This is going to be above my pay grade, just like Dean. Whatever pulled him from Hell has more power than any demon.”, she turned to leave, before spinning slightly, pulling a piece of paper from her pocket. She hesitated, and then handed it to Sam, placing a hand on his chest, “If you want to work, there’s a demon at this location…He’s a heavy, but you know what to do.”
