1. I am over 25 years old and I prefer my partners to be [b]20+ years[/b]. I primarily write a female main character but I enjoy playing multiple side characters of any gender/sexuality. 

2. I enjoy including some smut with the story. Preferences and limits can be discussed in PMs. 

3. I enjoy dark themes and difficult situations for the characters. I am fine with violence, swearing, alcohol/drugs and many other dark themes. 
I dislike gore and like to keep it to a minimum. Obviously with vampires involved there's going to be some bloodshed, but let's not make it a SAW film. 

4. I prefer to rp through PM with a seperate PM for OOC chat/plot discussion. I write in [u]third person[/u]. I tend to average 3-5 paragraphs a post. I try to tailor my responses to the situation and/or my partner's pace. I try to respond once a day (especially if it is a shorter post) but at minimum 
I can get a reply every 3-5 days(ish).

5. I am ghosting friendly! I understand life happens and this is just a hobby. I won't be upset if you disappear. 
That being said, if you lose interest or want to stop for any reason you can let me know.

[u]My Character[/u] is a young woman in the early 1800's, the adopted daughter of a wealthy merchant. The merchant and his wife are hoping to elevate their social status by marrying their daughter to a nobleman. [u]Your Character[/u] would be a mysterious Count (or Duke) who spends more time socializing with his Brother (also a nobleman), rather than pursuing a match. Both Brothers are secretly vampires and, in fact, there are many vampires living in secret amongst the humans of high society. 
(The Brothers could be blood related, or adopted, or simply sired by the same vampire)
[u]My Character[/u] reminds the Count and his Brother of a former lover they knew over two hundred years ago. This lover had courted both the Count and his Brother (possibly at the same time), but is presently presumed to be dead. The likeness between [u]My Character[/u] and the former lover is remarkable, drawing the curiosity of both men. As the unwitting young lady grows closer to the Count, she draws ever nearer to the dark secrets of his past and present. 
However there is another threat lurking in the darkness that may threaten humans and vampires alike...

There are several directions we can take this, and many different elements we can add along the way. I am open to ideas and suggestions to add to the story! I am looking for someone to play the Count and possibly his Brother (although I am open to the idea of playing the Brother myself along with My Character).   
I should also clearly state that I am no historian and therefore not really concerned with historical accuracy (so long as it's nothing outrageously unfitting to the environment).
