[indent]Quenton is the youngest child of the current Lord Reaper of Pyke. Far removed from the pressures of succession, he occupied much of his younger years working through Pyke's less than stellar library and engrossing himself in the folktales sung by bards and Drowned Men. While he was still trained by the castle's master-at-arms in the use of weapons and the sailing of ships, Quenton took more to reading than reaving. After his sixteenth nameday, he accompanied his elder brother on a trip to Oldtown and decided to stay on as an acolyte of the Citadel. He distinguished himself from other boys rather quickly, forging nearly six links over the course of his two full years of study. 

At the insistence of Prince Vaeron, Quenton was allowed to suspend his studies to accompany the young Targaryen on his voyage to Essos.[/indent]

[indent][b]Prince Vaeron Targaryen:[/b] Quenton happened to be one of the acolytes who escorted Prince Vaeron throughout the Citadel during his visit some time ago. The two became fast friends, and although Quenton had been in the process of forging a Maester's chain, he decided to abandon his pursuit in order to accompany Vaeron on his trip to see the Wonders Made By Man.

[indent]Quenton has taken to chronicling the group's exploits across their journeys. He has jokingly dubbed it the "Diary of a Reaver." 

Quenton still has his half-finished Maester's chain in his possession. It has two links of copper and platinum and one link each of iron, yellow gold, pewter, silver, and bronze. He had been set to begin studying the higher mysteries before he left the Citadel.

Despite his opinion that the Iron Islands still have much modernizing to do, Quenton has an unabashed love of Ironborn legends and folktales, and has a penchant for challenging his fellows to the Finger Dance.[/indent]
