Esme Stirling
Esme didn’t miss Mika’s nod of thanks to her and gave a small smile in return. She sighed inwardly as she finished pulling out what they needed for Dean. She could still feel the tension between them but was happy she acknowledged her help. She was about to walk away from the table to tidy up the room a bit when Mika suggested she wrap Dean’s left hand. “Alright.” she said with a small smile. Esme grabbed some gauze and alcohol wipes before walking over to Dean’s left side. She listened as he spoke and sighed. She didn’t blame him for being worried about this whole thing. The last bit of what he said made her look up, even if it was directed at Mika. But she could relate to the statement even if she didn’t have words to express it at that moment. Esme set the gauze on the arm of the chair and opened one packet, letting the paper hit the floor, then carefully pulled out the wipe and unfolded it. “This may sting a bit.” she said as she gently took his wrist. She then carefully cleaned the cuts on his hand with the wipe, just barely catching what Natalia had said. Her eyes never looked up from her job. She then used the other for good measure. She tossed the wipes on the table before grabbing the gauze from the arm of the chair. Esme then carefully wrapped the gauze around his hand, being mindful to not wrap it too tight. When she had finished, she released his wrist and took a step back and looked over at Natalia. “I can hang back with you here.” she told her. “You don’t need a large group going with you to summon this thing.” she said, looking back at Dean. “With Mika going, that should be plenty. Plus, it’ll give you one less person to worry about.” she continued. “Though, I won’t lie. I’m worried about the three of you going to confront whatever this is.”
