Oh no, it's less about the way the tribe seems to think he's a super smart genius and more about the fact that most of what he's doing is actually [i]working.[/i] The recognition he gets from the other Claybitah's is actually a big part of what brings it [i]down,[/i] because they treat him like a genius when really he's nothing special. But he's pretty good at making [i]plans,[/i] and when those work out he starts to get caught up in his own momentum, making him a lot more confident.
