OK, so here is what I came up with.  Let me know if this makes sense. I kinda based it off Naofumi's Air Strike shield.

Abilities of Weapon: 

Air Burst- Able to create a strong burst of air that impacts the target in a 12 inch ball.  Diameter of ball increases with the user level.  

Burst Shield- forms a air generated shield (similar to the one in the manga) and helps minimize damage from attacks.  The number of layers or shields are depended on user level. [/hider]
