Josh hoped Serena was right, having to put trust in something he didn't understand in the slightest. "I hope you're right" he muttered before seeing her sway and pause due to getting light headed. "Maybe you should be doing this to help me. You look like you're gonna drop any second" he said with concern in his voice at her state. She was a patient herself and here she was trying to help him. He felt selfish asking for her help when she needed to recover herself. 

Kay made it to the morgue with him and let him shove the door open seeing the hooded figure and the girl. When he antagonised the creature, she nodded at his words after, "got it, you stay safe okay? Don't die on me" she told him before seeing him charge the creature and tackle it, clearing the path for her. She instantly ran over to the child and knelt down, holding her hand out for her to take, "come here, we're here to help, we can take you to your brother sweetie" she said soothingly but urgently to the child. "I know you're scared but we gotta go...now" she added urgently.
