I have many characters, but for the time being I'm only using this one.

▰▰ Talus ▰▰
[sub]"Officially I don't exist, and in a couple of seconds neither will you."[/sub]

—Species—

Android.

—Gender—

Male.

—Age—

Unknown, though it has apparently been long enough for Talus' internal clock to lose track. That or the sheer amount of damage he's taken over the years has knocked more than a few screws loose.

—Personality—

Talus is, for the most part, ruthless and efficient. At least when it comes time for a job to be done anyway, although he will occasionally allow a bit of dry humor or wit to slip out in order to lighten up what is an otherwise tense and risky situation. He also appears to be quite introspective as well, often slipping into bouts of deep analysis or thought when there is time for such. As for what he is thinking about, no one but him can ever know for sure, as he is not exactly one to share the contents of these thoughts with others. Finally, while he does not mention it, it does appear as though the nature of his work weighs upon him heavily at times. This ultimately does little to stop him from getting the job done, however, no matter how much of a burden it comes to be.

—Reputation—

Talus' reputation truly runs on a need-to-know basis. Meaning if one does not need, then one most certainly does not know.

—History—

As if widespread redactions on his identity in both physical and digital documentation wasn't bad enough, the fact that he cannot reliably recall most of his past makes any and all endeavors to learn about his history even worse, since what little non-classified material there is might not even be accurately remembered.

—Gear—
Weapons

Spectre-09 - A sleek looking yet surprisingly sturdy assault rifle with violet highlights and a built-in holographic sight, this gun comes with your standard trio of firing modes, along with obvious ones such as safe. These are single-shot, burst, and full-auto respectively. In regards to ammunition types, the Spectre fires high-caliber milspec grade kinetic rounds designed to tear through armor and flesh with ease. ‎
AM3 - A veritable beast of a handgun, the Aries Model 3 is perfect for use in close quarters scenarios where significant stopping power is required, as it relies on an energy cell powered firing system to generate and deliver devastating bolts of plasma to a target. Recoil and overheating are still a bit of an issue however, despite the manufacturer's best efforts to eliminate them.
Utilities & Equipment

x3 Z-Nades - Despite the somewhat intimidating name, Z-Nades or Zero Nades are actually hollow tubes designed to release a molecular freezing agent a few seconds after being primed in order to rapidly bind with the joints or hinges of whatever synthetic object it comes into contact with, locking them in place. These are generally used for taking high priority android targets down without causing too much harm, or in cases where the situation warrants a more non-lethal approach. This agent has no effect on organic non-synthetic material however, and appears as a thin layer of easily discarded frost. ‎
CYPHER - Mainly a type of intrusive program that Talus was given by his employers, CYPHER is typically deposited into the mind of an artificial target via a spike housed in his forearm, which he uses to safely locate and extract potentially sensitive data. From here the information is transmitted back along the spike, where it is then written onto an encrypted solid-state drive for future viewing and use. ‎
R.A.T.S - The Rogue Android Targeting System, or R.A.T.S for short, is a multiuse software suite connected to Talus' physical senses that provides him a plethora of options when it comes to stalking his prey, the most valuable of which is his ability to track a target based on their micro-radiation signature alone, though other onboard utilities - such as thermal imagers and footprint analyzers just to name a few - do exist for him to use. ‎
Nanoweave Cloak - Made from nanoweave mesh, this self-repairing hooded cloak not only offers Talus a fair amount of protection against kinetic projectiles, it also lets him use a form of active camoflage. It does not let him turn completely invisible however, being used for blending in more with the surrounding environment instead. Thus should one look closely enough or should he move about too unnaturally, Talus may find himself easily detected. Finally, the cloak does not offer the greatest protection against energy based projectiles, as they tend to burn out or short circuit the nanites it is comprised of. This slows the automatic repair process, since new nanites must be created from nearby material, a serious diversion of both resources and time that severely disrupts his active camoflage capabilities as a result.
Ship(s)

The Turing - Appearing as an almost amphibious or even fishlike creature with two massive arms, the Turing is fitted with the latest in regards to military tech, coming fully stocked with its own miniature armory, long-range sensors, and even an onboard stealth system, although it should be noted that this is in place to hide the ship while it resides on a planet's surface since it would be practically useless in space. Oddly enough the Turing does not have any weapon platforms to speak of, such things having been cut in favor of a making a craft focused more on maneuverability, speed, and ease of infiltration rather than one focused solely on offense. To this end the ship has been fitted with several forms of thrust in addition to its standard intersystem jump drive, the most noticeable and powerful of which are the twin rotating engines sprouting from the tips of each wing. Several micro-thrusters line various parts of the ship's hull as well, and are mainly used for more delicate maneuvers or steering in general. Lastly, the underbelly of the Turing is lined with eight ionic repulsors, four on each side, that it uses to hover in place.
Wealth & Resources

Credits - Enough to maintain himself, his gear, and his ship, plus any additional payment he gets from a successful job. The exact amount remains a tightly kept secret however. ‎
Friends in High Places - Thanks to the nature of his work and impressive record thus far, Talus can occasionally call upon his mysterious benefactors for a favor, so long as it is a reasonable one.

As for what kind of fight, well firearms are playing a major part and if we are subscribing to the brutal aspect of it, then do be ready to possibly die in a single post. Not holding back with a melee weapon leaves room for an opponent to counter, but the same can't necessarily be said about a gun.
