[@Noblebandit] IRL there weren't really female gangsters (outside of the all-girl [i]sukeban[/i] groups, that is) until the boys started bringing their girlfriends along to rallies and New Year's parties at gang hangouts. This was around the early 80's.

But it's a fictional anime and I suspect OP doesn't care about "realism" if it excludes half the human population in this case
