Esme Stirling
Esme closed her eyes as she leaned against the sink, still breathing slowly. She felt Cason come up behind her, but said nothing as he stood there for a moment. She focused on her breathing until he spoke to her, which caused a slight smirk to appear on her lips. Taking a deep breath, she opened her eyes and slowly pushed herself away from the sink, then staggered back into a wall, her smirk disappearing. She leaned against the wall and focused on Cason while also focusing on standing. “I’ll be fine.” she told him, her tone a bit stronger than a whisper. “You owe me one?” she questioned, a laugh almost forming in her tone as she watched him. “How is it you owe me?” she continued with a raised brow. A demon saying they owed one to a hunter. That was something she never thought she’d ever hear.
