Esme Stirling
After Esme ran her hands through her hair, she let her arms drop once again to her side with balled fists. She just about snapped back with a smartass remark when he asked that’s not what people do. Instead, she rolled her eyes in response. Of course, a demon wouldn’t understand why she was so pissed about the whole action. Would it even do any good to explain it to him? She turned to face him once more as he continued to talk and brought up Sam and being stuck with her. “Stuck with me.” she said with a small laugh in her tone and he grabbed her arms. She fought against his grip on her but soon gave up, seeing as she couldn’t free herself from his grip by struggling. Though, if she really wanted to get away, there were still a couple of things she could do, but she refrained from doing so. She glared at him as he searched her eyes and spoke about what happened as she slept. As she listened, she couldn’t quite comprehend why a demon would be so concerned about a human hurting themselves in their sleep. Why did such a simple action, which she was sure would have been done for her, have such an effect on him? When Cason licked the blood from his lip, her eyes drifted upwards to the bullet hole in his forehead. With how badly it was bleeding, she could tell the bullet was slowly working its way out. Her eyes then drifted back to his when he spoke about not getting herself killed or trying to kill him. His small shove made her step back a couple of steps and smirk at his words. “Tantrum?” she questioned. “If you want to see a tantrum, I’ll show you a tantrum.” she said before the door slammed. Now, with the room to herself, she sighed heavily as she walked over to the bed and sat on the edge of it then punched it. “Holy hellfire.” she whispered as she put her face into her hands. “How in hell did I get myself into this?” Esme ran her hands down her face and looked around the room, focusing on different items to calm herself down. At that moment, she wished she had the dark purple crystal wolf that hung from her car's rear-view mirror. Just looking at it always seemed to calm her pretty quickly. Taking another deep breath and slowly releasing it, she stood up and walked into the bathroom, closing the door behind her. She didn’t want to admit it, but Cason was right about her needing a shower. She walked over to the shower and turned on the water, then adjusted it to the perfect temperature. “I can already tell this is going to be another long day.” she told herself. She checked the water one last time, then stripped and stepped in. She closed her eyes and stood under the water, letting it run over her face for a moment. She then placed her arms on the wall and leaned against it, letting the hot water run down the back of her head and back to release the tension she was feeling. Thoughts swirled around in her mind as she stood beneath the hot water. Never in a million years would she have thought she’d have a demon following her around like a lost puppy. If it had been any other day, she would have snuffed him out without a second thought. She still couldn’t understand why she hadn’t killed him yet. Pushing the thoughts from her mind, she then proceed to get herself clean and rid her hair of glass. Once she was clean and her hair was glass free, Esme lingered in the shower for a little while longer before finally forcing herself out. Grabbing a towel she wrapped it around her hair then grabbed another and dried herself off then wrapped it around herself, tucking in a corner so she didn’t have to hold it. Walking to the door, she cracked it slightly so the steam had a way to escape and cool the bathroom down. Walking over to the sink, she noticed there was a hairdryer hanging on the wall. “Good, I don’t have to walk around with wet hair.” she told herself. Taking the hairdryer from the wall, she set it on the counter before leaning forward and taking the towel off her head. Using the towel she squeezed as much water as she could out of her hair, then threw the towel up on the counter. Then she picked up the hairdryer and started drying her hair, combing through it with her fingers to dry it faster and not have knots in it.
