Mika meant every single word she spoke to him. There was no 'say it because he needs to hear it' this time round. She wanted him to know that she did have his back, she would always have his back. No matter what he didn't have to continue fighting alone no matter whether it was an actual hunt or what was going on his mind. She would be there. He never gave up on her and she sure as hell would never give up on him. Her eyes never left his face as she let him nuzzle into her hand before opening his eyes once and managed to find words to say once more.

At his question, she got a tight lump in her throat as she never want to imagine him dead and gone. She saw the tears threatening to spill out over his eyelids as he continued to speak and explain how he knew what would happen if anything happened to her again. A reaction she would have expected to hear. She saw how he grieved her fake death, and as much as she turned her heart cold to not be overwhelmed in seeing him grieve for years, she remembered vividly those nights she was alone and did let her feel his pain for her. It was overwhelming and claustrophobic to deal with.

Eventually she managed to find her words herself, "Dean listen to me. I'm not gonna lie to you and say I'll cope if you die. Because I won't cope. I will do exactly what you have these last few years for me. I will do whatever I could to get you back and if I couldn't get you I will no doubt be overcome with my grief because you and Bobby? You're all I have left. My last link to anything good in my life. There's no me if there's no you. Kenzi proved that. But knoe this, you are not in any circumstance poison or bad luck." she told him.

"if anything I'm the poison out the two of us for doing what I did these last few years. But you are not bad luck or anything similar. You are my one good thing and hope. So please... Please don't think you're anything less." she continued, practically pleading in her last few words. "I will always be there for you, we're a team you and I. Equals who always pull each other out of dangerous situations. I will always be there to pull you back, just like you've always been there to pull me back." she said one more time, before placing a soft kiss on his lips, then pulling away.
