Family: The Hart family was never a traditional, loving bunch of relatives.  Instead, they were more like a business enterprise.  Jack's mother is a prostitute and his father is a wealthy owner of a mine.  Though his mother raised him in between her 'appointments', his father had very little do to with his son and, in fact, started his own legitimate family with a woman of social stature.  Eventually his mother succumbed to illness and died, leaving Jack to find his own way in the world.  Though he may have some half-siblings on his father's side, he has not had any direct contact with them.

	- Novice Gunslinger: Jack knows how to point and shoot his weapon, but trick shots and long distance sniping is out of his scope.  He could hold his own in a duel, but if he is surrounded by a gang of outlaws with ill intent, he would be in some serious trouble.
