Adelina was hardly impressed by what she thought was Shadow's attempt to shock her out of her current concerns by telling her that Eliezer and Hildebrand was in the past. It obviously sounded like nothing more than a fib to her, and she was looking forward to hearing how he was going to explain it. However, once they were seated and he took his mask off, her expression softened out of pity for the assassin, and she found herself listening to what he had to say next, despite it being unrelated to the whereabouts of the prince and the knight. As one of the well-to-do individuals in Dainia who would always try to aid the poor of the kingdom, she was touched by his story, but now feared the Moon Raven even more. Shadow's scars, and what he had just said about Raven's tendency to fly into blind rage were sufficient evidence for Adelina to tell that she was a very dangerous person. Were these assassins truly protecting the prince by allowing someone like her to even be near him, much less be in a relationship with him? Even if she really was in love with him, did this claim of love warrant trust that she was never going to hurt him the way she had hurt Shadow, or worse? She was worried for Eliezer's safety, both due to the current situation and the fact that he was romantically involved with someone who seemed to be an unstable killer. She reached up to touch his face, but stopped herself, looking away as she let her hand fall to her side. "I'm deeply sorry for all that you and your companions have been put through, but you know what the Moon Raven has done to you. Why do you risk putting Prince Eliezer in the same danger by allowing this 'love' between them if you claim to be keeping him safe?" [hr] Eliezer and Hildebrand had managed to find a carriage in which several guards were transporting goods to the palace. The vehicle had been stationary while most the the guards were away from it attending to other business, and the two had managed to get into it to find some appropriate apparel for disguises before travelling with it back to the palace as part of the group. Once at their destination, the guards poured out and set to work unloading the carriage. The prince and the knight managed to slip away from the hustle and found a secluded spot where they could discuss their next objective. However, before they could say anything to each other, they heard hushed voices coming from around the corner. Cautiously peering out from where they were, they saw one of the ministers conversing with a female redhead in black, fitted attire. Both Eliezer and Hildebrand realized that there was something about her appearance that reminded them of someone whom they knew. They could not make out the words exchanged between her and the minister, but they saw the latter handing her a bag of gold before she went on her way. The two then nodded to each other, nonverbally agreeing to follow the minister who happened to be going to meet the king. [hr] King Hendrick of Dainia was known for his cold, aloof demeanor, one that his elder son had taken after. He looked over all who were at his table, before responding. "It is time for us to rid Dainia of this threat. Tonight, we take Wynton Forest, and we eliminate the Lunarian heir and her family," he announced. He then turned to the captain standing by his side. "Ready the troops, Captain Werner. You shall leave for the forest at sunset."
