i was thinking of having a character whose family was deep into researching phantoms but something bad happens to them because of this seeking if knowledge.

however Im having a hard time wraping my head around the world


hmm so what are the source of these psychic powers? like is is the minds of the people?

Also is there any logic to where the phantoms manifests?
