Esme Stirling
Esme had closed her door before Cason had answered, then gave a signal to Sam and Natalia to let them know they were ready. She had noticed his flinch before he answered but didn’t say anything about it at that moment, but nodded to him saying he had to make a call on the way. She looked out the front window and placed her hands on the steering wheel and prepared herself for the drive. She was ready to regroup and fill the holes in what information she had. If angels were now part of the game, what else could be in store for them? She sighed to herself as thoughts went through her mind, she held back a shiver that tried to run down her spine. From the corner of her eye, she saw Cason pull out his phone and made his call. She couldn’t help but focus on what he said, even if she didn’t look his way. The one side of the conversion definitely had her attention, especially the past about not saying anything to someone until they figure out what’s going on with the angels. When Cason ended his call and stared at the car ahead of them, she cut her eyes over at him. “That sounded like an…… Interesting call.” she said to him. “You mind sharing with the class?” she continued. As she sat there waiting, she couldn’t help but think that he wouldn’t tell her what was just discussed or he would lie about it. But there was still the possibility that he’d tell her but leave things out after everything that had happened between them. She then turned her focus back through the windshield and on the car ahead.
