Dean laughed gently, trying not to shake her too much while she was eating. He remembered vividly his need for cowboy boots. Hell, he still wanted cowboy boots, even if they were uncomfortable to run in. “I swear, I’m going to work a case one day that requires cowboy boots for the undercover stuff. I need them…”, he quipped, pointing his finger to make a point, “And I think I would look sexy, like Dr. Sexy…I can’t believe you don’t agree.” He laughed again, his eyebrows raising as one of the nurses came up and kissed Dr. Sexy. As he pushed her away, she seemed offended and began sobbing, “That poor woman. Can you imagine being turned down by a man like that? Devastating…” After a few minutes, he smiled at a random thought, again, “So, do you remember that time, at your house, when I got stuck on a ladder outside your window? We didn’t want to put the ladder right under the window, in case I needed to hide, and my legs weren’t long enough…” He laughed a bit harder at the memory, “I was so stubborn to make it work that I almost broke my damn neck, but ended up having to climb down after your parents went to bed. I don’t know if you remember, but it was like…three-ish hours. I was so sore…”
