Still when she started looking at messages and emails, she couldn’t argue with his choice of music, it was different. She enjoyed the conversations they were having, although she wouldn’t reveal all, it was nice to talk about helping people out where possible as California seem to be coming apart bit by bit, well at least San Francisco is so far. Nyssa was thankful for the tinted windows however; no matter how desperate people would react to seeing some rich individual rolling into town. Her thoughts were disrupted by the sudden slam of the brakes which normally would illicit a sudden what the fuck, but looking ahead and hearing Mike sudden outburst it was clear to see why. To her surprised an old lady had stepped out in front of them, luckily the slow speed meant that the incident would not have been fateful thankfully. A couple of workers had quickly come out profusely apologizing several times towards the vehicle as they came to the aid of the lady and quickly helped her back inside to care for her, it was clear they had their hands full and Nyssa couldn’t really tell if contact was made with the lady or not. However, that was not what caught her attention the most, she had to keep a calm look about her, the sudden breaking and the… sparks did have her jump a bit from the surprise, but she chose not to show it at that moment. “Are you alright?” She would ask calmly before she would tell him to proceed carefully past the homes that had been setup, of course there was a very low speed limit for obvious reasons, people where everywhere getting sorted and it was crowded. But once the two vehicle convoy had safely reached towards where some of the ambulance were parked by the back doors to the rear building Nyssa got her things together before addressing Michael. “Thank you My Hayes, feel free to stay a little if you wish and freshen up, I will be here for a while so you will be free for the rest of the day.” Nyssa smiled at him as she opened the back door to leave but paused. “Oh and Mr Hayes, before you do leave the premises if you choose to do so. I want to speak with you in my office shortly, there are a couple of things I want to discuss with you.” After a moment of hesitation, Nyssa stepped out of the armoured SUV with her security detail and close they closed the door behind her, soon she was swamped by several people giving her an update of the current state of the camp.
