This is the fabled Jason Lily, or so he tells himself. In reality he is Jason in his final days. Having lost everything all he dreams of are the golden days of his youth with his crew, before everything went to ruin. If only he had been wiser...
ᴘᴇʀꜱᴏɴᴀ
He is a man who had good intentions and big dreams to help others, but his opportunistic, shortsighted ways often cause him to fail. He is a coward and a liar, but he is the sort of man who shows his mettle and pull throughs when danger comes. That was why he was able to win the trust of his crew in the end. In his old age, he has lost all his fame and fortune, so all he years for those nostalgic days with his old crew. His shady, unkept appearance makes it hard for others to trust him at first, and it's doubtful any of the old Argonauts would think this faded old man is what remains of their captain. But maybe during this war, the old man will be able to prove his mettle rekindle the faded spark that made him a hero.
ᴡɪꜱʜ
To recover the lost glory of his youth.
ᴘᴀʀᴀᴍᴀᴛᴇʀꜱ
STR:D END:C AGI:A+ MNA:D LCK:EX NP:B
ᴄʟᴀꜱꜱ ꜱᴋɪʟʟꜱ
Riding: A+ Can handle most vehicles and phantasmal beasts with ease, except those of the dragonkind. The skill improves when riding a ship, as expected of a legendary captain like Jason. Magic Resistance: B As a hero of the golden age, and furthermore, as the husband to a witch. Jason has developed a resistance to all kinds of spells and sorceries. Cancels spells below three lines and in modern times only high level spells have a chance of affecting him.
ᴘᴇʀꜱᴏɴᴀʟ ꜱᴋɪʟʟꜱ
Faded Glory: C The captain will never forget the deeds of his crew, thus Jason -in nostalgia- will endeavor to find worthy new crewmates who can replicate their heroics. This skill allows Jason to imbue an actor with the precious memories of his crewmates, to allow them to replicate their skills. Sadly this is merely an imitation, similar to projection magic, as Jason is merely recasting others into the roles of the friends he lost. In the end, no matter how much he tries to build up someone in his heart, they will never compare to the great hero he remembers so fondly. Thus his illusions will fall to delusions when they fail to match his own memories. Needless to say, the body of a normal human will also break down long before they can ever match a hero, so this is a pointless endeavor twice over. Some roles are just too big to ever be filled. In the end, all he can really do is rely on his own measly skills now that he has been abandoned by everyone. A degraded version of Astrapste Argos. Eye of the Mind (True): C+ Age and many trials have granted this young man great wisdom befitting a true leader. No longer does that spark of brilliance only come in the moments of great danger, but now he can reliably plan his action to guarantee a chance of victory as long as it’s possible. Of course old habits rarely die, so his vision sharpens just when the jaws of death are near and he has to run away. Old dogs might improve their tricks, but they still are dogs. Voyager of the Storm: A-- The proof that this once was the captain of the greatest ship in all of Greece and the leader of many heroes who together braved many challenges. The result of Chiron’s training that made Rider a leader of men. Grants the user the effects of both high ranking Charisma and Military Tactics. Sadly in his current status, Jason is merely a shadow of himself at his prime, and thus it loses effectiveness. A man without a crew can’t call himself a captain after all.
ɴᴏʙʟᴇ ᴘʜᴀɴᴛᴀꜱᴍ
Argos Olethros The Brilliant Ship Rots into Ruin Rank: B (A+) Type: Anti-Army Number of Targets: 50 Range: 1-100 A legendary ship where many heroes gather. In the old days it could summon the old members of the Argonauts and even allow new members to join- empowering them with Jason’s legend to grant them a one rank stat bonus in battle. Sadly those days are long gone, and all that is left is a ruined ship that is barely seaworthy. Not that it can do much without a great crew. But even if wrecked, the Argo is still a legendary vessel, it’s hull made of sturdy fig wood with a high armor class, and it’s long oars still allow it to sail fast. But in the end a ship is only as good as its captain, and a faded legend like Jason has little to contribute. During a normal battle, Jason fights using the mast of the ship as a makeshift spear, using the cargo as obstacles or summoning the hull as a shield while he runs away. Shamefully, he is not as strong as his best friend to use the ship’s heavy anchor to crush his enemies; he should have lifted more weights with Chiron. When activated, those on board become a part of the new Argonauts, and thus receive part of the remaining heroic karma that Jason has. Even if faded, the brand of the Argonauts is still one that is synonymous with heroes. New outstanding crewmates would help restore the Argo back into its prime, but poor ones strain the already damaged ship and cause it to rot faster. Argos Finale Let all Grudges be a Knot to Spell the End Rank: B Type: Anti-Unit Number of Targets: 2 Range: 1-50 When nostalgia fades, one must wake up to face reality. Try as he might, Jason is no longer the young hero with the world in front of him, but instead a faded star with nothing but a rotten cursed ship and a knot to hang from. In the end, Jason’s tragic end being crushed by his ship is nothing new. Many legends have ended in tragedies across the ages, Jason’s is merely one amongst many. In that simple truth lies the nature of Jason’s true Noble Phantasm. When activated the remains of the legendary ship fully rot, leaving only the prow which then forms a bounded field that traps Jason and his target. The grudges that Jason accumulated by the end of his life are released bringing the target enemy to meet their own tragic end. In other words, Argos Finale is a hero erosion skill. Those inside plummet in their standing as a hero, falling from shining stars into flotsam that is mired by lankly seaweed and muddy waters. The greater the original status of the hero, the greater the fall. Even the greatest paragon that Rider considered his best friend would fall into a tragic and pitiful end as this curse exists as the ultimate rejection of the glory of heroes. The only true way to escape is to break the initial bounded field with enough magical power, or to be a hero with such luck that they can avoid the curse. Needless to say, a shining hero that has never met tragedy would never be affected by this curse, but such a hero doesn’t exist to Jason. During a normal battle, if Jason manages to hit his enemy with the remains of the Argo, the curse starts to accumulate and thus their status as a hero starts to slowly plummet. Divine protections fade, their weapons break, their skills rust, until only dust and ashes remain. Bit by bit they lose whatever shining glory they had, until they fall into the same deep ruin that Jason met at his end. Of course if one never was a proper hero, they have nothing to lose to this conceptual armament. Bonus
Aggy

Because the prow is made of sacred wood, it houses a guardian spirit- Aggy- who provides good advice... which promptly goes ignored by Rider. In the end, no one wants a nagger by their side. She has been serving Jason throughout his whole life, as a faithful aide, and even in these final days when she is rotting and ruined she will stay by his side. The magic accumulated inside the legendary ship allows Aggy to manifest as a wooden horse, based on a doll originally carved by a certain witch with a love for models. As a side note, she could have taken the form of a cute girl, but an idiot like Jason is not worthy of that. Every year she won the vote for the most beloved Argonaut by a wide margin.
