Marabella
Bella continues to make her way around the room, greeting the guest and engaging in small conversations here and there. She knew she should suck it up and at least talk to one prince, but was still having trouble forcing herself to do so. One good thing to come out of her mingling was that she had finally calmed enough to have a genuine smile upon her face. Everyone she came across seemed pretty nice, even the strange ones. When she finally got the courage built to go find one and talk to them, her keen ears picked up a clang. Yes, her ears were pinned and out of sight, but that didn’t mean they didn’t pick up even the slightest sound. She looked around to see if anyone else had heard the sound, even stealing a look at the guards. No one but her seemed to have heard it. Bella stood there, debating if she should see what caused the noise or leave it be. Curiosity got the better of her and she went to see what caused the noise. “Maybe an animal from the garden got in.” she whispered to herself as she left the room. If that was the case, it would be easy getting them and taking them back out to the garden. As she made her way through the castle, she focused on trying to locate where the sound came from. It wasn’t long before she heard more sounds and she followed them. They led her to the temple. Her head tilted in confusion as she looked at the door. It would be hard for one of the larger animals to get in there. So, could it be a bird? She walked up to the door and gave a push, not noticing the broken lock. She peeked around the door to look inside. It was dark, but she could still make out things. She heard sounds coming from the darkness and stepped inside to find the source of the sound, thinking she’d find a bird desperate to get out. She slowly made her way through, looking around as she went. A strange scent filled her nose, but she thought little of it. The temple always had a strange scent to her. Bella made it to a spot where the moonlight shone in. She stopped and looked around and that’s when she saw the Viking looting. She froze, her eyes going wide and she gasped, it echoed through the silence. Regaining herself momentarily she turned to run, taking in a deep breath so she could scream for the guards.
