On the planet [color=f9ad81][b]Wynn[/b][/color], Ten Top Students from the most elite magical school in [color=f9ad81][b]Arnestra Sera[/b][/color], [color=f9ad81][b]The Protegio Institute[/b][/color], are about to complete their last year as [color=f9ad81][b]Laymagi[/b][/color], preparing for their Finals. If they pass, they graduate as [color=f9ad81][b]Acolytes[/b][/color] and gain access to the magical underground world of [color=f9ad81][b]Arnestra Sepa[/b][/color] and their new home - [color=f9ad81][b]the Protegio's Six Towers[/b][/color]. Also above and beneath the surface of this planet are the [color=f9ad81][b]Arch Protegas[/b][/color] - the sacred Gateways to the [color=f9ad81][b]888 Plaines of Existence[/b][/color] and the center of magic throughout the universe.[/center]

Under the watchful eyes of the [color=f9ad81][b]Master Sufi[/b][/color] (Sufu/Sufa), these Acolytes will embark on their amazing magical journey through each step of their training (Acolyte to Journeymagi to Apprentice) - until they've harnessed their inner [color=f9ad81][b]Xim[/b][/color] - their true magical connection to the pure source of all magic within the 888 Plains of Existence, becoming Sufi. But, other eyes are secretly watching these students, much more carefully than the Master Sufi.[/center]

As if these new Acolytes didn't have enough to worry about, word spreads among the student body of an old practice never used in over 200 years. Well, there's been no need for it - until now. The Grandmasters of the Six Towers, known as the [color=f9ad81][b]Master Avats[/b][/color], have sensed an abnormality; one they haven't felt in a long time. Among the new Acolytes, there's a [color=f9ad81][b]Taun[/b][/color] - a student who holds a pure connection to all six forms of magic.[/center]

Six years of their life to solitude is the standard training for a Taun, allowing them to strengthen their powers within each tower of magic individually. Such a life is unimaginable to these new students - all wish to avoid such a fate; losing their freedom for unfathomable power; no connection to family, friends, relationships. They'll even have to disconnect from their dragons during the time! That's unheard of but necessary for this training. Being this strongly connected in all forms of magic and pure Xim is a phenomenon, and a dangerous one at that. Many who have such skills are usually easily broken down in mind, body, and spirit. The power and weight of such is fatal. This is why the training is so extensive - and harsh. 

It is known that Tauns are the only students qualified to become Avats, sacrificing their lives to protect Wynn and the [color=f9ad81][b]Arch Protega[/b][/color] from below, while the [color=f9ad81][b]Avat Legionnaires[/b][/color], Master Dragonriders, protect them from above, and the [color=f9ad81][b]Twelve Elders of the Citadel [/b][/color]protects all of Wynn.[/center]

Meanwhile, as the new Acolytes begin their new lives with the start of their three-month summer break, another strange phenomenon occurs - The Gatesway opens for the first time in two hundred years as well, to a dying planet called - [color=f9ad81]Earth.[/color] An Outsider slipped past the protectors of Wynn; an [color=f9ad81]Earthling[/color] was pulled through the portal.

Can these students manage to keep up with their studies, and protect their freedom, with these issues looming over them?[/center]

(So basically, as our dear Yuri goes through the trials of graduation and the fears of becoming a Taun, he and his friends encounter the Earthling Remy. And, for some odd reason, Yuri attempts to keep this outsider's presence a secret, rather than turning the stranger into the Citadel. In spite of the warnings from his friends, he attempts to give Remy a crash course in living on Wynn - since there's no returning to Earth unless the Gateway reopens. Unfortunately, Remy's presence on Wynn comes with pomp and carries a greater cause that they all become involved in.

If you want to create any NPCs or other charries you wish to hold, feel free. I have - several - I'll be holding to move this story along. Hopefully, if we're able to reach an end, everything we do here will become canon for Act II - the group RP. I've done this once before and it was pretty cool, even with people coming and going. I tend to keep shit going regardless... And this will be a long-term thing, cause RBR - Reality Before Roleality, that's my motto! I can keep a story going for years, so no worries there.)
