The fact that Dean didn't like the idea of leaving the innocent people behind either was of some relief to Mika. It meant to her that her wave of compassion for others was valid and not a case of her heart getting in the way of the job. She noticed him constsntly looking in the rear view mirror to make sure they were getting out without being followed and when she looked herself, she felt happy enough to sit up a bit more and not lay low in the passenger seat so much. Even if his words were more for his own benefit to justify his actions, Mika did get some relief out of them also. She knew he was right and there would be no way they could help those people in their state, and with the state of her leg injury, even bandaged and stitched up, she would be an easy target and easy to smell out to a vampire. Even if she had the right bullets already in her gun's chamber and magazine, she wouldn't be able to hold them off long enough to survive if she stayed in that room on the bed. He wasn't the only one who knew him driving in his state all the way to Souix Falls was a bad idea, but they could at least drive to the next nearest area and hold up there for now. She hated not being able to drive herself but she knew if she tried to drive on her leg she would cause herself a lot worse damage than she already had. It also meant neither of them had to deal with drunk Bobby, she certainly didn't deal with him being drunkenly angry at them both and then turning into overprotective Uncle mode. At Dean's joke she sniggered and smirked, glancing at him before looking on ahead again, "if you're paying" she quipped back jokingly. She was just coming down from the worry but it was still there, knowing that when he went out there to see what was going on on his own, he could have been attacked easily and she would have been oblivious until their room got attacked. Sure. She was terrified at the fact she could have been easily taken out but the idea of losing Dean scared her even more. They really were each other's weak point which was dangerous and worrying.
