[b]Appearance:[/b] Kei is taller than the average, being 5'7, and the outfits she wears tend to hide the toned body underneath. She has light green eyes, keeps her long black hair in a ponytail and her mouth is often seen with a soft smile. She wears a formal suit while on-duty. But on closer inspection, there are minor flaws. Her hair isn't perfectly combed, her suit has wrinkles, and Kei always seems to forget to tuck her shirt in.

[b]Personality:[/b] Kei is a cheerful and sociable girl, a byproduct from not experiencing many hardships in her life. But as her joining the APSU would indicate, she couldn't stand idly by, especially when she has the means to protect others. She wants to try her best to help others, and treats everyone in a friendly manner. That doesn't mean she's a complete idealist, but she believes one should try as much as they can, knowing how bad things can wind up being. And despite her kind manner, she enjoys a bit of banter, although she only teases others as a response.

[b]Brief Backstory:[/b] Born in a peaceful area with no phantom activities, Kei faced no dangers growing up. But while the people around her preferred things to stay the same, she wanted to help those in more dangerous regions. Unfortunately, that opportunity came faster than expected as her district was attacked by Phantoms. As Kei tried to help evacuate people out of the newly made Ghost Zone, she herself was attacked, which inadvertently awakened her hidden esper powers. By the time the APSU arrived, they found a badly-wounded Kei, her injuries recovering by themselves. Since then, Kei has joined the APSU by her own volition (although her doting parents say otherwise), eager to support the efforts against the phantoms.

[b]Esper Power:[/b] [i]Biokinesis[/i] - The ability to manipulate life itself using one's mind. While Kei hasn't grasp the full potential of her power, she's able to manifest it in several ways. One way she uses it is healing others. She can mend the wounds of others, although it requires concentration to use, as well as body contact with either her own body or the neutral link weapon she carries. The other active use is sensing other forms of life, allowing her to find phantoms and anyone else through obstacles or debris.

 Additionally, Kei's own power affects her subconsciously. Her own body has slowly altered itself to become more stronger than the average, and she can regenerate wounds much faster than she can actively heal. Perhaps due to this, she's somewhat resistant to other esper powers beneficial or not, and she can damage Phantoms barehanded if need be.

[b]Equipment:[/b] Kei's Neural Link Weapon is a shield. Due to her own body essentially being an anti-phantom weapon, Kei prefers something to protect herself with. Due to the wireless link, she can heal others through the shield itself, although it's not as potent as if she was healing them herself. Additionally, she carries a medical field kit.

[b]Skills:[/b] To assist her abilities, Kei has gotten training as a medic. It's useful in cases where she can't concentrate on using her powers.
