[@Vampiretwilight] You asked a strange question. Owning lots of land would necessarily make you wealthy, because land is a finite commodity forever in demand. The other choice, being wealthy with a single house is non-specific. It's a weird limitation too because what need would a person have for a house if they're very wealthy? Renting/leasing is infinitely easier when you're wealthy. 

That being said, 

You possess inexhaustible wealth, but all other people on the planet live lives of subsistence.

Or

You and every other person has enough to live comfortably, but luxuries like travel and electronics are strictly regulated to be used solely for the upkeep of society. In general, you live where you are born and there are no large retail chains where you can purchase an excess of material things.
