[b][color=red]Reason for Detention:[/color][/b] Wanting nothing more than to be one of the "cool kids", Adam is willing to do (almost) anything just to fit in, even if for no other reason than to survive high school. Therefore, when the popular girl in his class started passing around a very crude photoshopped image of their math teacher, Adam took his chance and said it was him when the teacher found it.

[b][color=red]Personality:[/color][/b] Despite being your stereotypical awkward nerd, Adam is actually a very charismatic person. His personality can be easily described as a combination of charming, playful, carefree, and outgoing. He exudes confidence in everything he does and says, and just generally enjoys making sure everyone is happy. Always willing to be a martyr, to lend a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen, but unfortunately leads to him being the school bullies' favorite punching bag. Men aren't allowed to be sensitive, after all...
Though however confident he may seem, underneath lies an insecure teenager who surrounds himself with a carefully constructed facade to hide how much he hates himself and the destructive thoughts that won't leave him alone. High school is hell and he just wants to survive it's trials.

[b][color=red]Extra/Background:[/color][/b] When Adam's mother Evelynn died during childbirth, his father fell apart. John Harvey's life spiraled aggressively downward after that night. He went home with a screaming bundle in his arms that he raised purely because it was the only part of her he had left. But the older his son got, the more he saw her face reflected back at him, the more he grew to hate that Adam had been the one to survive. Adam's father thus started years of emotional abuse, saying his son had no right to be alive, the least he could do was make it worth his time. So Adam submerged himself into his academics, shunning any semblance of a social life. His relationship with his father became more one of toxic roommates than family. Adam generally enjoyed school and was very good at it. It gave him a much needed distraction from his home life. Until high school that is. Until he discovered his father wasn't the only bully life had to offer.
