Personality: Shy and reclusive, Veronika doesn't usually approach people until she gets used to them. She has a high degree of camaraderie for those whom she has gotten used to though, especially in the case of her work as a soldier. She views the rest of her squad as an extended family and holds them in a high degree of respect, so long as they have shown her the same.

Biography: Born on Mars in 4562, Veronika was the daughter of a civil engineer and a nurse whose family had immigrated from Russia to Mars in the 32nd century in one of the first waves of cosmoneaughts who left Earth to colonize the red planet. Now, generations later, her family was fairly successful in having made their names building and working Mars into something like Earth was. Decent, but never exceptional in school, she decided to try something different and relatively unique for the history of her family, and that was joining the EMA's Martian Garrison. Serving as both a police force and arm of the EMA's Military forces, they kept themselves busy by maintaining order and helping their communities whenever they were not in active service or training, but in the time Veronika joined, they were being assembled and sent out to the Asteroid belt to try and contain the growing rebellions. She passed physical testing with decent results and went on the specializing as a Tactical Sniper, being sent out for active service on the asteroid belt immediately.
 
For ten years, she served the EMA faithfully, earning an impressive service record of kills and wrecks on targets throughout various theatres of war. She never complained or disobeyed orders, but even she started to have doubts as to the effectiveness of her work killing heavy weapons teams, drivers, enemy fleet captains before they could board their vessels, was actually having any effect upon the outcome of the war. For every man she killed, another four seemed to take their place at times. Even so, she kept her head down and her added more kills to her record, becoming one of the most decorated markswomen in the Garrison forces with the least collateral damage or requisition of EMA resources to complete her missions. Such a skilled sniper was just one of the specialists the Sabre Project was looking for, and with augmentations, they knew they could make her into something even more deadly.

Specializations: Augmented Eyes (allow for all fields of vision and zooming as in regular scopes), "chameleon" skin augmentation (allows for her skin to mimic the surroundings, rendering her invisible so long as nothing she is wearing stands out. Is most practically effective with a camo-cloak or suit), "statuesque" augmentation (blood cell modifier, on demand, it can be activated to produce minute amounts of oxygen within deplenished blood cells, giving the same effect as if she had taken a breath. It allows for her to momentarily not have to physically breath, thereby enabling her to become as still as a statue, hence the name. Used for aiming precise shots, usually over long distances.)
