If they were ever to progress or become fully aware and knowledgeable of what they were to each other, she knew just as well as he did that they had to make an effort to try and not be in this cycle with each other, but something always seemed to force them back into it, no matter how hard they tried to reset things. She looked down at her hand as she saw him take it into his own hand and lift it up to his lips, kissing which made her smile softly. It was such a simple action, a small one really, but one that always brought so much calm and solitude to her. She let out a simple 'mmhm' sound from her lips as he muttered about them always ending up in this situation unable to deny it. The feel of his lips on her head and hair making her ever so slightly nuzzle into him just that bit more, the aching in her leg just fading into the background of her mind. She wanted to believe this was the last time they'd end up in this cycle, that from now on they would just be good and solid with each other and not mess things up, but the other part of her mind told her it was more than possible they'd end up here all over again. When he said the three words to her without her saying them first, she initially froze in the spot she was in, never thinking in a million years she would have ever heard him say those words first. As he shrugged slightly, she looked up at him her deep dark brown black eyes meeting his green eyes. Mika found herself actually smiling warmly but softly at him properly since they had their forced chat downstairs. "I love you too, I think I always have" she replied to him, making sure she didn't once look away from him so he could see she was well and truly telling him the truth. She knew how well he could read her face and she hoped he could tell she was telling the truth right now.
