The loud voice and the image of two dark elves in the sky made Myra jump, alert, hissing and camouflaging herself as she analyzed her surroundings, only realizing that they were speaking from the sky and weren't in fact close to her. While she didn't know what they were talking about nor how exactly they did that, Myra somehow had a very bad feeling. She never expected anything good coming from a Dark Elf, but the fact that they had killed the few Light Elves that were with them in the broadcast made it even more obvious that it was something bad. The dark elves continued talking for a few moments until everything went dark again, only the noises of the many creatures in the forest remaining. The big creatures that roamed through the cold taiga like unchallenged titans, ones that even Myra avoided, making their discontent clear with loud roars, while the smaller creatures fled and hid. Using her camouflage, Myra ran to one of the hideouts she had found some time ago while hunting. A small opening under an uprooted tree, that led to a small underground cave. While damp and cold, it was still a safe place as most of the small creatures that could enter were seen by Myra as prey and the big ones were highly unlikely to even realize that there was something under the uprooted tree. Curled up in a ball, with her long tail around her in order to preserve body heat, Myra quietly waited for the sleep to come. The terrible sensation that something very bad was about to happen still in her mind as she slowly fell asleep.
While the forest was undoubtedly calmer on the next morning, there were clear signs that it wasn't a calm night. Trees broken in half or sometimes completely uprooted dotted the forest as Myra began getting ready to seek for food after getting out of her small hideout. It didn't take long until Myra felt the scent of blood in the air. Using her camouflage, Myra began stalking the wounded creature, following the clear trail left by the strong scent of blood. After a brief while, Myra finally found her target, a wounded boar, laying near a tree, an easy and vulnerable target for a predator such as Myra. The big holes on it's side and chest a clear indication that it had lost against another boar in a fight. Myra positioned herself as she sneaked closer to the wounded boar before pouncing on it with terrifying speed, moving like a distorted blur due her speed as her camouflage deactivated. Her teeth and claws were sinking into the back of the boar's neck before it could even realize what it was happening, only jerking it's body in a futile attempt to struggle before convulsing a few times with a weak, squeal as it finally died. "Bleh!" Myra opened her mouth, sticking her tongue out. Both her tongue and teeth where filled with fur that came out from the boar after she bit it. Spitting out the fur that got into her mouth, she used her claws to tear apart the boar's hide, ripping it's side open to reveal the flesh inside. Myra knew she had to be quick. The smell of blood would quickly attract other creatures. While she could easily defend the carcass against goblins and other small creatures, it would get considerably harder and more dangerous if a troll appeared. As such, she immediately started eating, taking a big bite out of the boar's side. Between eating and turning around to hiss at the few goblins and other creatures that slowly started to arrive, it took only a few moments until more than half of it was already eaten. Having satisfied her hunger, Myra took another big chunk of meat, holding it into her mouth before running away, leaving the rest of the carcass for the other creatures to eat. She was lucky that the smell didn't attract any bigger creature while she was eating. Satisfied and with some meat with her in case she got hungry afterwards, Myra began moving closer to the border of the forest to investigate. The dark elves were much more active since she saw the sky image from the last night. Depending on what was going on, maybe she should start looking for ways to leave the island...
