He wasn't with Andy in Nancy's vision- they'd already have to split up on a mission, unable to protect one another. He felt uncomfortable not being with her, not being able to protect her at all. He pulled Andy into a side hug, feeling hollow inside. He knew she could defend herself, probably better than he could, but it was just the idea of him not being there at all, leaving things to the fates. He didn't know anything about Doors of Death or The Pit, just that it was somehow his dads domain, or at least adjacent to it. He watched Niah swear and oath, and he gritted his teeth. He had no idea how binding that was, or what the consequences would be for not following it, but if he had to guess, he'd say the answers to those two questions would be "very" and "death". It was a stupid, rash move, but one that he at least respected the gesture of it. He nodded at Mads, saying, "We'll do whatever we can to keep you safe, I don't... know a lot about this stuff, but if I can help it, you'll be coming back to camp. I promise." He said quietly, but loud enough for them to have heard him.
