Before they drove away from Dean, she heard what he said to her through the window and nodded, knowing that after this she would not be okay on her own. She needed him more than ever now that he had seen for himself first hand just what she put up with when her dad got angry. She cried as she tried to keep her eyes on Dean for as long as possible until he was out of sight. She sat forward and looked at her lap, refusing to look at her father for what he did to her and said to Dean. She wanted to scream and yell at him for treating him so badly when Dean had done nothing but protect her and make her happy. His anger and judgements were all being aimed at the wrong person but she knew if she did say anything, she'd just get another hit. So all she could do was sit there submissive to the main person she was afraid of. The drive back to her home was only around ten minutes but it felt like forever, the silence deafening. When they got back, she got out the truck, grabbed her bag and stormed inside the house as her mother was standing in the open doorway waiting for them. She ran upstairs to her room, slamming her door as loudly as possible, making the walls shake in the process. She threw herself on her bed and grabbed her pillow hugging it and crying before deciding to go to her computer, turning it on and going to the one place she could send an IM to Dean. "I'm sorry you had to witness that I wish I could say he's not like that normally But it wouldn't be true I'll leave my window open like always I'm scared Dean... Meekox" She clicked send and hauled herself back to her bed where she curled up on it, hugging her pillow again, but not before she unlocked her window like she always did, but kept it shut just incase either of her parents came in.
