Dean caught his breath, his arm snaked under her head and his hand resting in her messy hair. His eyes were closed in a mixture of laziness and contentment as he wiggled his fingers against her scalp and scoffed at her words. He opened his eyes and glanced down at her, just taking in the way she looked against his chest at that moment. His heartbeat had begun to slow, and her fingertips against his sensitive skin was almost enough to put him to sleep. He kissed her back just as briefly, his eyes showing the love that he didn’t know how to express, but he did it on accident, at times. He laughed at her words, raising his eyebrows and leaning his head back onto the pillow with his eyes closed, “I mean…I can go right now. Just casually slip out of bed and disappear for a couple of weeks, just to get you all worked up like this again.” He didn’t remember a time that he had ever been that excited or aggressive with her, or anyone else. So, he couldn’t make fun of her too much. The thought of her hair brushing across his face when they had somehow made it to the floor caused goosebumps to form under her fingertips. Dean chuckled giving a toothy smile. He lowered his hand that had been in her hair down to her upper back, stroking the skin gently, to illicit goosebumps from her, as well. “I missed this too much to stay away that long again…”, he whispered, snuggling her a little closer to him.
