Dean Winchester
Dean had a small pang of guilt hit his stomach as he thought about her trying to protect everyone, after he stupidly ran at the demons with nothing other than a knife. He should have known better. He got himself killed, because she was another weakness, just as much as Sam. He gave a small smile to her being happy he was back. It wasn’t as if he didn’t already know, but it was good to hear her say it. He was, however, curious about where the hell his brother was. He hadn’t heard a peep from Sam since he came to. He shook the thought from his head, as Mika kissed him, closing his eyes and bringing a hand to wrest on her cheek, gently. As she pulled away, he pressed his forehead against hers, breathing deeply through his nose as he stared into her eyes, “You better be. I don’t want to have to kick your ass. And you still owe me for skipping out on our last night on earth…” He laughed, kissing her again briefly as a knock at the door caused him to flinch, and gasp. He pulled back from her, “You stay here…” Dean pulled away from her, quickly running to Bobby’s desk and grabbing the handgun Bobby kept there for safety. He knew that if it was a demon it would do no good, but he could at least slow them down. He stepped up to the door, carefully placing his hand on the doorknob, the gun pressed against the glass at chest level, and whipped it open. What he saw on the other side of the door made his eyes go wide, taking a step back, and lowering the gun. “Sam?!”, he asked, his eyebrows almost in his hairline as he stared at his brother, and Anna covered in blood.
Cason
Cason yelped and let out a groan at the impact of Esme’s forehead against his, falling over onto the couch as he assessed whether he was in for more healing time. He kept his arm wrapped around her waist until she pushed him back. He shook his head, trying to get a sense of how hard she hit him, and then worried about her, more. He leaned forward, staring at her face, as she leaned back, “I’m fine. I didn’t hurt you, did I?” Cason didn’t even expect an answer. He just wanted to ask, since he was the one that scared her, which was never his intention. He made a mental note to stop scaring her. It wasn’t romantic, and half the time it ended in one of them bleeding. As she turned her gaze back to him, and asked about the situation earlier in the night, he simply nodded, gesturing to his almost regenerated eye. It was black, at the moment, but was doing its best to heal, along with the skin and hair of his eyebrow. He shook his head, reaching out to gently touch her hand that rested on her temple, working a tiny bit of his magic again, to hopefully help with the pain. “I um…Sarah, actually. Sarah reacted, and realized she had to help one of us. Seeing as you were going to blow either way, she chose to save me.”, he explained, his face intently staring at her, showing the level of care he was being forced into. He then glanced over to Sarah, who was fast asleep at his feet, “She’s a good girl.” At the sound of a knock at the door, Cason sat up a little straighter, still concentrating on Esme’s head while he watched Dean. His eyes turned black at the smell of demon blood, however, and he held his free hand out, “Dean stop! It’s a…” His eyes turned to saucers as the door opened.
Annabeth
Annabeth flinched at Sam’s touch, nodding at his question of ‘all?’. As far as she knew, the angels had killed Alastair as soon as they took him. Why wouldn’t they? She could barely stand as he helped her up, her legs quivering under her weight from the amount of demon blood her body was craving. What little demon blood was running through Sam’s veins assaulted her nose the second she came close to his chest, taking a deep breath as her eyes flickered between blue and white. She held onto him for dear life, though. She was so thankful to be safe with him, and she knew she was. She didn’t have to run ever again, unless she chose to. When he sat her down in the back seat, her hands came up, begging him not to leave her, even though she knew he had to in order to drive them. “I’m dying…”, she whispered out of fear, as his heartbeat rang through her mind. Covering her ears, as if she could keep the sound out, she laid down in the back seat and curled into a ball, holding her shins tight to her stomach. It didn’t seem long before they had rolled to a stop, Anna smelling Cason the second Sam opened his car door. She lay still, not knowing if she could walk on her own, and waited for Sam to come and help her. As soon as she had stability to do so, she scooted out of the car, keeping her head down and her face buried in Sam’s side as he walked to the front door of the house and knocked. She heard Dean’s voice, but didn’t raise her head, until Cason’s scent hit her nose. “Dean close the door. DEAN CLOSE THE DOOR!”, Cason suddenly screamed into what seemed like an echo chamber around her. She didn’t even realize she was growling against Sam’s side, her fingernails digging into Sam’s arm. Cason stood from Esme, and stepped back, falling onto the ground with a thud, scrambling to get away from her. Dean seemed confused, until she lunged, shoving Dean harshly against the wall and pounced on Cason, her eyes white and her teeth snarling, dipping down toward his neck…
