Dean’s heart fluttered a bit, in his heightened emotion to hear the words slip out of her mouth. He pressed his elbow to his side, pinning her hand in his elbow as the walked downstairs. He let her go briefly as she went for the money and her jacket, grabbing his own leather jacket from the arm of the couch. He was careful not to wake Bobby as he did so. Giving Bobby a sad look, at how hard he was sleeping, Dean reached over him, taking the throw he kept on the back of the couch. He carefully unfolded it, and laid it over him, tucking it around his neck, before patting him on the shoulder gently with a small smile. He then turned back to Mika, quietly jogging to her and wrapping her arm in his again. “That’s the best idea you’ve had all night. I will most definitely be drinking tonight…”, he quipped, opening the front door for her, and stepping out with a bit of happiness in his step, “And with you looking like that, I may need to bring out the pickup lines. You know…to make sure you come back home with me.” He laughed, and then took a deep breath through his nose as the fresh air flooded in, smelling like rain.
