Dean Winchester
Dean could barely breath, his breaths coming in gasps as he tried to figure a way out of this, mentally and emotionally. This couldn’t go on. He also needed to figure out what was making them sing like this. Nothing that he had ever heard of could control people like this. Even knowing what he knew about angels, which wasn’t much, he hadn’t heard anything of them being able to control entire groups of people at a whim…to sing hurtful or painfully true songs to each other. He glanced up to Mika, to see if she was still standing with him. Seeing that she was, he kicked at the gravel a bit, and stepped forward. His chest was clinching on him, wanting him to spill his guts about what had happened all that time that they were apart. He wanted to tell her that he had thought about settling down with Esme, and that they were more serious than he wanted to admit to himself. Tonight proved that. He was gutted when she left him. He still felt the stitches of that pain tugging, every time he heard her voice. But he couldn’t let her go. She was such an important part of his life, with Mika gone at the time. She kept him from going insane, and gave him comfort when he had nothing but himself, and his asshole of a Dad. One touch of her hand and he would calm. She even taught him to control his rage, which was something Mika had wanted him to figure out their entire relationship. Things were good, though. He couldn’t screw this up. He wanted..no…needed Esme to be in his life, but Mika was his constant. Gaps be damned, she was always there. They always ended up together, regardless the fights that broke out. This wasn’t even really a fight. This was a misunderstanding, but one that he couldn’t talk to her about…yet. He closed the gap between them, caging her face in his hands, and crushed her lips with his roughly, one of his hands coming to wrap around her waist as he kissed her.
Cason
Cason sighed as both Dean and Esme ignored him, for the most part. He should have been used to it, by this time. But it was disappointing. He fought the urge to walk out and force his way into the situation, but soon lost the fight. He hopped off the porch and strolled across the gravel, just as the song in the garage ended, and the music started to play a different tune. Carefully approaching Esme, as not to make her angry enough to blow him up, or anything, Cason slowly sat down on the hood beside her, and laid his body down, turning his head to watch her face. He wanted to ask about Dean. Some of the intel, he had already received, but not enough to warrant what he had just seen. The music started to get louder over them both, and Cason’s eyes grew wide as lyrics started leaving his mouth. “I gotta take a little time. A little time to think things over. I better read between the lines, in case I need it when I’m older…”, he started, not noticing that Sarah and Vilolet both were running toward them, “This mountain I must climb feels like a world upon my shoulder. Through the clouds I see see love shine. It keeps me warm when life grows colder.” Sarah began barking as she ran up to them, grabbing his leg and pulling. He placed his hands down on the hood, gritting his teeth to fight the words coming out of them. His jaw popped as his mouth came open again. “In my life, there’s been heartache and pain. I don’t know if I can face it again. I can’t stop now. I’ve traveled so far to change this lonely life…I wanna know what love is! I want you to show me!..”, Sarah dragged him off the car as he continued singing, reaching for Esme, “I wanna feel what love is! I know you can show me!…” Violet laid down on his legs, pinning him to the ground as Sarah laid over his face, smothering his words. The music came to a sudden stop, as he laid there under the Hellhounds, yelling out a muffled, “DAMMIT!” He slapped at Sarah’s side, causing her to stand from him, and step away. She was satisfied the song had passed, and she had protected her dad, expecting scratches, which she didn’t get right away. “Um…pretend you um…didn’t hear that. I’m sorry… Yep.”, Cason muttered, waving sheepishly at Esme, and scrambling to his feet to walk away.
Annabeth
Anna looked down at the floor, listening to his words. She couldn’t help but feel like she was being punished. How was she supposed to know demon blood was even a thing? A week earlier she had no idea demons even existed. She raised her head with a shuddered sigh, “I do trust you…I just feel like I should have stayed. I should have stayed, and just…let him kill me. I don’t want to feel like this anymore…” She sniffled, turning her head toward the door as he asked if he could come in and be safe. She nodded violently, even though he couldn’t see, and almost tried to stand, before realizing her hands were still cuffed to the table. “Y-yes! Yes. I will stay still, even. Just please…please don’t leave me alone, Sam…”, he begged, staring at the door to see if he was going to enter the room and trust her, “This blood is trying to kill me and force me to get more, or something. I had a nightmare you were torturing me. I n-need to um…I need to know that’s not real.” She looked around the room as she spoke to him, breaking her promise in her mind, already as she looked for any option for escape if he let her loose of the handcuffs. She needed more. She needed to run, and she needed to get some relief. But. She could also touch him…and maybe he would calm her. She didn’t want to hurt him. She didn’t want to run away and make him hunt her. She sighed and turned her gaze back to the door, hoping that she would be able to make a good decision.
