Dean Winchester
Dean was still incredibly surprised at his mood, almost trying to frown just to test if he could be mad or sad around her. Esme had always had that effect on him, though. The brief time they had made for each other, over the years, was time that he looked back on fondly, if not just for how genuinely happy he was, around her. He knew that his mood wouldn’t go ignored by her, at this point. They were drawn to each other’s emotions like moths to a flame. A smile crept onto his lips, as he ran over his internal thoughts, and he turned his head to her when she scanned the room to check for anything they had forgotten. When she agreed with him that they had everything, and became playful once again, his eyes brightened once again. “I mean…that sounded like a request.”, he quipped, turning and letting her hand go to bend and wrap his arms around her mid-section. He hoisted her onto his shoulder, like a brute, and slapped her ass. Grabbing his knife from the table with his free hand, and shoving it into the back of his pants, he opened the door and stepped out with her, walking around to the drivers side of the car. He dropped her onto her feet, “I couldn’t forget you!” As he laughed, an elderly couple passed them, smiling at their closeness, which caused Dean to smile back at them and wave with a laugh, “They think I’m cute…” His eyebrows raised once again at his attitude, and he shook his head, confused, before his eyes met hers again, still confused.
Madison and Castiel
Madison thought she heard someone enter the house, but she brushed it aside, as she concentrated on her breathing exercises. She breathed in deep through her nose, holding her hand out at bowl of water. Castiel watched intently as she concentrated, hope in his eyes that she could control herself enough to move the water, but not blast it into oblivion. “C’mon…”, she whispered, as her hand began to light up, pulling the water into a point slowly. She sighed and lowered her hand, breathing heavily as the water dropped back into the bowl. “Perfect.”, Castiel muttered happily, brushing a hand over her face to help her turn her eyes back to normal as she calmed down, “That was perfect. And that’s what you do when you’re losing control. You breath. You take your time. Angelic grace is finicky…especially for someone like you.” When Sam stepped into the room, Madison pulled away form her exercises completely, and Castiel looked up at him with a small smile. She jumped into his arms excitedly, squeezing his waist, “They’re going amazing! I can move things, and I can control what my powers do…So maybe I can not hurt anyone!” Castiel nodded in agreement, “I have to say she’s doing well. I don’t know that she’s ready to be around a hoard of people…but it’s a start. How are Dean and um…Es-Esme?”
