Currently closed. Thank you for your interest! Hello! My name is Lilly (mid-late 20's, Canadain) and I'm looking for a male-dominant partner to try a loose RP idea with. I tend to write more of a slow burn, investing in the development of the relationship as much as the romance. I enjoy writing descriptively, though I have had some struggles with time lately so I've been getting a post up once a week to every other week. I tend to write from the focus of one or two main characters though I can introduce many other side characters to advance the plot. I prefer to write a female character and with someone who is also an adult. I'm open to expanding on the idea if an RP partner has things they want to add. I do like to get to know who I'm writing with but it's never a requirement. Rules; - open communication OOC about ideas/timelines - reasonable grammar - approx. 2 paragraphs minimum unless we're on a bit of a roll that requires more back and forth. In that case, at least 1 paragraph is good. Please no one-liners. My idea;
Male dominant, female submissive, university/college students. They can bump into each other once at the campus library, but mostly at the gym. Somehow they always end up on adjacent treadmills for those long cardio workouts. Eventually, they strike up a conversation (maybe at the library, 'you are that person from the gym' kind of thing). He could have a quiet confident type of demeanor. Intelligent and often observing others. She can be a bit more rambunctious and less confident. She is aware of her more submissive tendencies but hasn't had too much opportunity to explore them (and maybe vice versa for him). She (maybe they), find that the more time spent together the more a kind of sense of ease emerges... that that particular itch could be scratched with each other. They could grow and explore together as classmates (elective together?), friends, and maybe (eventually) SO's.
Some examples of my writing;
RP: Splinters Character: Daniel Role: Pirate ship's doctor and carpenter Difficulty: Casual
Daniel watched her every move closely. "I only take a life if that life be aiming t' take mine own." He responded curtly. It was certainly a part of the job he didn't like. He had valor once, as a part of the king's navy. They were taught many good and many corrupt things. He wouldn't have known it at the time, being on the other side of the fence has a tendency to put many things into perspective. He lived by a dirty code now, he understood its purpose but hated the grime that accompanied it. "An' 'bout yer bonds, I been given orders not t' touch 'em. C'n treat an'thin' else an' 'round 'em though." Daniel planned to do as much as he could for the woman. Standing up now he moved close to her, all the while keeping his hands in her field of vision. "I'm gon' t' take a good look at 'ese wounds." he articulated. He bent down now and gently ran his hands around the wounds, pressing around and on them to evaluate her pain. He had one of her guards bring a lamp close so he could get a good look at the colour of the wounds and flesh. "Ye be in luck. I think I c'n help mayhap." Daniel quickly moved back to his pack and separated what he would need while sending another guard off to fetch the rest of the supplies he would need. "I'm gon' clean ye up, sew a few o' yer wounds close an' bandage ye up. Don' cast a care at the fever either, ye'll be 'right soon enough." The guard returned with the supplies he needed. "'ere, drink this." he said, uncorking a cloudy bottle with bronze liquid in it. "t' dull the pain." He brought the mouth of the bottle to her lips and awaited for her to accept it or pull away.
RP: Splinters Character: Amelia Role: A young Lady taken captive and now rescued by pirates Difficulty: Casual
Amelia blushed as the sailors passed by her tossing out compliments and winks, no doubt to see her blush more. She smiled and even laughed once or twice at a short tale of one of the sailors as he passed by her in the line for food. This was not a world she knew well but she felt the freedom and thrill of it. This crew was different, this vessel was to be feared if angered but was otherwise very welcoming. Still, the rolling of the sea beneath them made her uneasy. She wished that these folk lived in her port but how she missed the land, and that would be the very thing that would kill the spirits of such adventurous people. She would never have been able to socialize with them anyway, likely being of the working class. Amelia missed the comforts of home, the fancy balls and occasional gossip that made it's way to her ears. She knew that she would also miss her time here on this vessel, and the opportunities to make her own decisions. Amelia looked up and noticed someone dressed in black, almost as if they were clothed in shadows. It was unnerving. Had they been there long? She wondered if they would come into her line for food soon, and looked about for Scarlet to see if she knew the person. Among the people, Scarlet was blocked off from Amelia by the crowd of people trying to get food but Amelia did sport her. She figured if anything needed to be done, Scarlet would handle it with all the fire that her name suggested.

Amelia giggled and laughed out of sheer joy. She was beginning to loosen up finally, one of the sailors having cracked her shy exterior with a number of semi-tasteful jokes. She looked over to Scarlet to see her smiling and letting a chuckle slip through her lips occasionally as well. "My goodness Mr. Sailor, you seem to have many funny tales from serving on this vessel." Amelia breathed. The salty air didn't hurt her eyes or lungs as much anymore. There might be a sailor in her yet! Such a dangerous thing for a lady to be... she would be flogged when she got home if her mother ever found out. The sailor man seemed to respond to her twinking eyes by bringing forth a tale about particularly playful dolphins. Amelia enjoyed listening, all the while keeping an eye on her safety net, Scarlet.
RP: The Academy of Heros and Villains - Year Two Character: Makoto (Electric abilities) Role: Student Difficulty: Casual - Free
As Makoto looked at the one that took control, she exhaled a sigh of relief. He was able to get the soldiers to stop attacking with lethal ammunition. The girl that followed her looked no better than she probably did herself. Makoto made a motion for the girl to follow her into the building when the everything went dark. Makoto had a moment of panic before remembering that is was simply the simulation turning off. Makoto carefully, and with some struggle of a hair strand getting caught, removed the helmet. The lights seemed very bright as she looked around the room but she was able to recognise the two who helped her with the soldiers and Molden. Makoto looked to the side of her and gave a small wave to Phoebe. She was happy to see a familiar face. She would wave to Katherin too, once her helmet was off. When Makoto looked at Mimic, his patience seemed strained. At this point, there was not much she could do but wait for the last few people to take off their helmets. She had tried to work with the other two as a team, but she did miss working more closely with Phoebe and Katherin.
RP: Undead Roomate Character: Beatrice - human Role: University Student Difficulty: Free - Casual
Beatrice yelped at the surprise and strength of Damian as he pulled her back into the room. He had never looked as strong as he felt in that moment. "Damian, you can't just-" She was about the scold him for treating her so roughly when she saw the change in his features. There was a great deal of pain what resided behind those glowing green eyes. Instinctively she recoiled from the idea of him as a threat. Her mind reeled at the sight of him changing, and then changing back. Beatrice cracked an unwitting and weak smile, her body knowing no other way to react. A part of her rejoiced in such magic being in the world, and another part of her died beginning to grasp how much evil there would be too. Beatrice knew that she was no Buffy. She wasn't skilled, or brave, or knowledgeable about any of these things. "But look at him..." her soft heart pleaded. "He is so broken, so alone, and in so much pain. Look at how he is looking at you! Such pleading in his posture..." Beatrice began to shake her head. Not again, she had promised herself she wouldn't put herself through this again. She would be no good for him, she was not capable of healing him or helping him. "I'm just a human..." was all she managed to squeak out past all of her thoughts, doubts, fears, joys, and romanticized fantasies. "I think I... I need some time." Knowing full well that there may not be much time if his family really was all vampires. Beatrice moved past Damian, shocked and oblivious, to go to her constant safe place. Beatrice was headed, armed with her access card, to the campus library. Beatrice spent the rest of the afternoon in the library. She did some school work or rather attempted it with no avail. She ended up wandering the fiction and lore section that was a part of a small 'fireside' room. The only reason it had such a name was that the circular part of the semi-circle room was all windows and in the middle of the straight side was a large, fake, fireplace that acted as a heater. It would be nice come winter, if she made it that long. She pulled out all the books she could on vampires and how to handle them.
