If we were dating that wouldn't really be an issue. It just wouldn't work if someone actively hated it because I will watch Dragonball or read it at some point and it's my favorite thing, so a girlfriend who shits on it (and me for it) is a no-go. My best friends weren't into it either and it's never been a problem.
