It was a bit odd, she wasn't too sure what to really say in response or whatever. That sort of thing wasn't something that she really cared about though. Using her powers in conjunction with others was not something she really cared about doing, preferring to just sort of be by herself with her powers, well by herself with her two robots, that was all that mattered to her really. Jack was fairly quiet as they left the area and then headed towards the apartment, figuring that soon they'd be able to talk about everything that has happened currently. Since aside from a few questions about Genosha and what it was like, the others weren't really saying much with regards to the situation or whatever. Of course, as soon as they reached the apartment everyone was talking at once about whether or not the Hellfire Club could be trusted, which was definitely an interesting question to keep in mind really. She instantly went over to sort of look out the window, Zari was glad that they seemingly had a place to stay currently, so that was something. The others were starting to converse about what they could do or really should do with regards to everything. "...I don't really care either way, this place seems cool. And personally why not give it at least somewhat a chance with regards to everything?" she finally said. She wasn't saying much more than that, since she had her own reasons for wanting to stick around on Genosha, she had a prophecy to deal with after all. The conversations around him were interesting as people were discussing how best to go along with everything that was happening. "Maybe take a few deep breaths, if you think something might be wrong here, then maybe stick around to see how everything is ran. That's always the best way to get some info, if you want to figure out if something is amiss. Just saying..." Jack commented, though there was something that he wasn't telling the others. Truthfully he didn't fully trust this place, but he was keeping his mouth shut currently about it since he was truthfully trying to figure out everything about the island while he was there. There were a few other things she really wanted to see about doing currently, one involved a bit of a phone call. It was going to probably not really be an actual conversation, but it was one that she really wanted. She wanted to at least be able to hear one of her children's voices, even if they didn't really know that she was there, or who was on the other end of the line really. Reaching back home to Magneto's palace, which she hadn't mentioned really to the remnants of the Mutant Underground that it was where she lived. They'd find out soon enough, but no matter, she wandered over to a chair and took a seat, pulling out her phone and flipping to a number, before hitting the dial button. "It'll be fine... Maybe you can actually say something this time..." she muttered to herself, waiting to hear (hopefully) the sound of someone picking up the phone. Miranda heard a click as someone answered. "Hello?" a voice came on the other end. She was about to say something, but couldn't find the words to really say. What all could she say really? There was no way she could just tell him who she really was. They'd never met before, aside from the one time when Wanda had warped reality. She didn't know how he would potentially react to her telling him the truth. "Hello? Anyone there?" Miranda remained silent on the phone, and eventually there was a sound of the guy grumbling a bit about scam calls or something, before there was a click and the line went dead, and she hung up the phone too. She knew that she needed to maybe reach out and try talking to her kids, both of them, but her mind kept telling her that no matter what, they were probably better off without her.
