[indent]Appearance wise, Botan is pretty much your average girl. She has no muscle definition to speak of (and in fact she's quite physically weak), but she's got a healthy build for her age. She's not particularly tall either, standing at about 5'7'', so the most noticeable thing about Botan is her big head of hair. Long, brown, and wavy, Botan likes to keep it loose so that it reaches down her body as much as possible. She finds that style cute. Even when worn in a ponytail or braid, it keeps it's volume.

Botan's clothing choices are stylish, but not extravagant. She wears blouses, skirts, and dress pants. Accessories like ribbons and bracelets are similar - simple, elegant, but not over the top. Even her at home comfortable clothes are like that. She doesn't even own anything that could be considered "lounge wear."

For the trip to Panmia Island, she's invested in some top of the line "outdoor gear," and she looks very out of place in them.[/indent]

[indent]Botan is a bit spoiled - but being the heiress to a wealthy family's company will do that to a person. She's used to getting everything her way, and though she's long since grown out of the brattiness of childhood, it's not beneath her to pout and sulk when she gets disappointed. A willful and determined girl, it's common for her to press issues and try to get the best results for her. That said, Botan isn't selfish - her pushiness can benefit those around her as well. Making sure your own are taken care of is just common sense. Or is it business sense? Botan is a little naive about how the rest of the world outside the corporate things work, but she's very much willing to learn - especially when it comes to Pokémon. 

She has a genuine interest in them that goes beyond the casual. She's taken classes, read books, and watched documentaries, but has very little practical experience with them. After all but strong-arming herself into a position on the expedition, Botan's excitement is at it's peak. Curious, studious, and driven - she might fit in better than expected.[/indent]
